Celebrating our amazingly talented group of nurses at Rockwells for Registered Veterinary Technologist Month!
Our clinic would not be able to function without these dedicated ladies. The job description is broad and ever changing - patient handling and restraint, monitoring and filling prescriptions, anesthetic induction/maintenance and monitoring, dental cleanings/radiographs and nerve blocks for pain management, blood draws, urine collection, lab a**lysis, microscope work, radiographs, catheterization for fluid and medication administration, ultrasound, nail trims and expressing a**l glands, microchip implantation, laser therapy, inventory control, clinic hygiene/quality control and client communication. There is no such thing as “routine” as every day brings new challenges and rewards. The health and welfare of all our patients is paramount and always their primary focus.
