Have you ever seen such a pup?! 💕
At about 6lbs, Racha is probably the littlest brown dog that we've ever worked with!
With some help with "big scary world" reactivity, she's going to do fabulous in her new home.
Not gonna lie, I'm a big dog person (based on lifestyle), but one day I'd love to have a little tough dog that would fit nicely in a purse next to my pitbulls.
Thanks to Calgary / YYC Dog & Cat Rescue | Pet Food Bank | Fosters Needed for helping rescue this little nugget.

Guys - come look at the ✨ fantastic ✨ dogs we've been working with this summer!

Lola, Jack and Darcie all crushed it at their SUP lessons!!

Hendry (hilarious to try and get a still photo of!) and Levi joined us to learn patio skills and recall, and Alvin joined to get some recall skills in too.

We've also had the big fluff, ms. Olive for some giant sized puppy training, and Gabby in to work on some leash reactivity.

Honorable mention goes to Rufus, the inanimate dog stuffy, for his involuntary participation in dog assessments (more on that later!..)

There's still more to come, but it's been fab summer so far. Thanks to everyone for coming out, learning and having fun with your dogs! ☀️ 🐶

Heads up: this will be our LAST SUP workshop of the season!

For our summer fun series, we are bringing you a super fun and often asked about introduction to stand up paddleboard (SUP) workshop!

This 1.75hr workshop is for those who have some experience paddleboarding, and want to start introducing their dog to the board.
In this in person session you will learn about gear & additional safety considerations for your dog, what cues you’ll need, how to get them comfortable with the board movement, working through distractions, body language and more! No board yet? No problem! We will have equipment for you to try and a SUP to practice with your dog on. Note that the majority of the first lesson will be on dry land. Homework PDF also included.

1 session total - 1.75hrs long (workshop format)
Maximum 5 students per session
$75 (GST included)

Upcoming Dates:
Tuesday August 18th @ 6:30pm
Location: Carburn Park

**Note that as with all of our workshops, our focus is on the dog training portion (we are not human sports instructors). It is highly advised to have taken a SUP course and be comfortable with water safety prior to adding your dog in, and to ensure your dog is comfortable with swimming and around water first.**
