OFFICIALLY ONE MONTH AWAY! So excited for expo season to start and what better way to kick it off than the Spring Western Canadian Reptile Expo!!

I’ll be going around with my friend and co-ambassador Nolan to ask you some questions about some of your favourite animals/plants and vendors at the expo. You can also check us out at our tables and talk shop!

This is our Pastel Desert Ghost Clown female. She’s one of my favourites in my collection and I can’t wait to see what ends up producing for us in the future! We produced the perfect male for her last year.

Which male would you use from your collection to breed to this girl or what genes would you add to her if you could choose any!? Are you a pastel hater or lover??

Expo season is upon us!!

We’re so excited for the Spring Western Canadian Reptile Expo on April 18th and 19th at the Acadia Recreation Complex.

We will be bringing a fantastic selection of ball pythons plus there will be a huge selection of Reptiles, Amphibians, Bugs and plants to choose from as well as some interactive booths, games and food for the whole family to enjoy!!

Stranger Spotnose Enchi Yellowbelly Clown - we can’t find another example of this combination online, which means this hatchling might one of the fist (or only) ones ever produced.

The head stamp on this snake is super unique, and the creamy pattern is genuinely striking. But here’s the genetic question: which incomplete dominant genes would YOU add to this combo next?

We’re personally thinking Calico and Acid would be incredible additions. Do you agree or disagree? What would be your next move with this genetics?

We just produced what we believe is a world's first: Bongo GHI Spotnose Enchi Orange Dream Clown.

Yeah. That's a lot of genes. And when this hatchling emerged, the result was genuinely unexpected — a combination of peaches, golds, and beige creating a sand-like colour effect we've never seen before.

Here's where you come in: we're creating the official name for this combination and want to hear what YOU think. What do you see when you look at this colour and pattern? What would you name it?

Cinnamon Yellowbelly Pied — a striking combination that creates mostly white pattern with dark brown-to-black head markings.

The Cinnamon and Pied genes work together to give that stark contrast. Add Yellowbelly and you get heavy pixelation across the brown patches plus extra brown tones distributed across the body.

We're curious: do you prefer Pieds with high white coverage like this, or do you prefer snakes with lower amounts of white? And what colour would you want those dark patches to be?

Lightning Pied — arguably one of the most visually striking combos in the hobby. MJ Axanthic Pied removes all colour, leaving pure pattern and contrast.

This combo isn't new, but it's maintained its rarity and continues to bring fresh enthusiasts into the hobby while inspiring experienced breeders to expand on it.

Here's the thing: we named it Lightning Pied, but there's a story behind that choice. What would YOU have named this combination? Genuinely curious what the community sees when they look at this snake.

Stranger Pompeii — a new direction for the Pompeii project. This combo represents a drastic colour and pattern shift from previous generations. We believe this is likely one of the first produced in Canada, and only a handful exist worldwide at this time.
