JOXER:

Joxer was a beloved noble Flatcoated Retriever born in Saskatchewan in 1998. He was a big beautiful boy who loved his life of swimming, chasing gophers across prairie fields, playing frisbee and hanging out with his adoring humans and fellow doggy friends. Joxer developed a heart condition when he was 8 years old and the need for nutritious, homemade treats became a reality. The recip

es for Joxer’s Treats have evolved over the past couple decades with Joxer’s taste testing and quality control responsibilities being taken up by the very reliable dog volunteers who have found their way into our family and followed in his paw prints. JOXER'S HUMAN:

After sifting through the endless unhealthy, preservative filled commercial options, Joxer's #1 human decided to create her own homemade recipes using REAL food and organic ingredients. Combining her love of cooking and love of dogs, she baked treats upon treats which Joxer graciously consumed with tail-wagging joy. For the remaining 4 years of his life he enjoyed an endless supply of his special biscuits made for him with love. He told all of his doggy friends and to their delight, shared his delicious healthy treats. With encouragement from veterinarians, doggos with special dietary needs, allergies and preferred tastes (aka picker eaters), we have decided to share Joxer's Treats to a wider audience in an effort to support good health and well being of the dogs we all love and cherish.

This holiday season we remember our favourite taste tester Toby ❤️ After 16 years in September he crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 & we miss him deeply but will still honour his commitment to the company & know he would want his favourite Sardine 🐟flavoured treats to be continued to be baked in his name & that we shall 🙏🐾
