Unbelievable sunny, warm(ish) weather at our Monticello fixture. Great mid-week turnout (15 riders, plus hunt staff) for a glorious day. Hounds speaking almost immediately, 3 viewings. Great footing, supper happy hounds, horses and riders called it a day after four hours.

Apologies for the delay in posting. Busy weekend for ECH. Grand Valley South on Saturday and Halloween Hunter Pace on Sunday (will post later).

It was a cold but sunny day at Grand Valley South. Four coyote sightings, great open territory, and a fabulous tailgate hunt breakfast.

Thank you to Richard, Andrea, Kat, Alistair and the hounds for a great day out in the countryside. Unbelievably hot temperatures for this time of year made scenting a bit tricky but the hounds were not to be deterred. A big field enjoyed the fall colours and viewings! Thank you to the landowners of our Erin North Fixture.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all our northern friends! Today, Canada celebrates a beautiful day of gratitude, family, togetherness, and autumn blessings!

Canadian Thanksgiving: Monday, October 12, 2026
U.S. Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 26, 2026

Two countries, two different dates, but one wonderful tradition of giving thanks!

Today we also honor Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day, recognizing the history and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples across North America, and the land we are privileged to ride on.
