With a life time of love for animals and over 15 years experience, walking and caring for both dogs, cats and all other woodland creatures. The Dogmother is proud to provide authentic and nurturing care and services to your furriest of family members. Our team believes in socializing and creating bonds between dogs through leashed nature walks by one of our dogwalkers which helps to enhance the wellbeing of your Dog. We also offer private at home Puppy visits and Cat visits to engage your pet and stimulate through play. As a team we always feel privileged to build personal bonds with your pets and have the trust of our clients to offer personalized attention and care. We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded.

Meet Sami, one of our sweetest senior kitty clients! With eyes like little marbles and the warmest welcome at the door, Sami makes every visit special. 🧡

She may love spending her days napping, but bring out her favourite catnip toys and she’s ready to hop around and play! Treat time is her absolute favourite, and the moment you sit down, you can bet Sami will be curled up on your lap.

We absolutely adore our visits with Sami while her parents are off enjoying their adventures!

Cats need more than just a fresh bowl of food and water. Enrichment, playtime, companionship and a consistent routine are all important for their physical and emotional well-being, especially as they get older.

Whether you’re spending long days at the office, travelling for work or sneaking away on a well-deserved vacation, we’re here to make sure your kitty gets the love, attention and enrichment they deserve. 🐈

Review of the week 🐱🧡

There’s nothing better than going away and knowing your pets are happy, loved and completely taken care of at home. For these two handsome boys, that meant following their routine, lots of attention and cuddles, and daily photo + message updates so their humans could actually relax and enjoy their wedding in Costa Rica. 💍🌴

And yes — we LOVE cats too. 🐾

Welcome to the pack, Fiona 🌸

Although Fiona was originally used to an indoor daycare environment, her owners were looking for a more personalized and nature-based socialization experience, and watching her transformation has been so rewarding. From shy girl to now an off leash mentor in our group she has already worked with 3 puppies building on their recall, leash skills and socialization.

When Fiona first started with us, she was very shy. We began with leashed private walks so she could slowly build trust with our team and feel comfortable in new environments. From there, she graduated to small groups… and now she’s thriving in full group adventures with all of her friends. 🐾

Fiona may be allergic to absolutely everything 😂 but she is also one of the sweetest girls ever, always ready to play, give kisses, and have a bout of the Zoomies.

Her biggest accomplishment has been interacting with unfamilar humans with confidence.

We are so proud of you, Fiona, and lucky to have you in our pack 🤍

We are currently accepting new clients for our enrichment nature group walks, with limited spots available.

Our Cat Visits are personalized to your kitty and can include feeding, fresh water, litter care, medication, playtime, cuddles (on their terms, obviously 😹) and photo/video updates so you know they’re happy and cared for.

A little reminder that I’ll be taking some much needed time off with my family August 21 to 31. 🤍

We’ve had such an incredible year, and that is entirely because of the amazing support of our clients. We truly pour our hearts into caring for your pets every single day, and while I’m off, I’m looking forward to slowing down and giving that same time and attention to my family. 🥰

Our amazing Dogmother team will be covering all existing scheduled appointments. Response times may be a little slower than usual and last minute requests may not be able to be accommodated.

**The Dogmother will be fully closed August 22.**
