Annual bloodwork’s one of the most important ways we keep your furry friends feeling their best! 🐾

Since our pets can’t tell us how they’re feeling, these tests give us a clear look at what’s happening on the inside. It’s the best way to catch small changes before they become big problems.

Routine testing’s a great way to:
✔️ Keep a close eye on organ function
✔️ Spot early warning signs of illness
✔️ Manage any chronic health conditions
✔️ Track your pet’s unique health baseline

When we identify changes early, we’re able to act fast. This gives your pet a much better chance at a long, vibrant, and happy life!

Nala was in with us recently for a CT scan, and she was an absolute angel! She’s so teenie and perfect, and our team made sure she got endless snuggles during her time with us. 🩺✨

We often get asked why a CT scan might be needed instead of a standard X-ray. While X-rays are great for taking a quick flat picture, a CT scan gives us a detailed 3D view of what is going on inside. It lets us look closely at soft tissues, intricate bones, and tricky areas from every single angle. Having that extra clarity helps our team pinpoint issues much faster and build the best possible care plan.

We’re so proud of how well this little girl did during her visit!

Sending so much love to sweet Nala! ❤️🐾

Keeping our furry family members safe involves a deep understanding of their specific immunity. At CMVH, we focus on a tailored approach to preventative care by offering vaccinations and titer testing to ensure your pet has the right level of protection! 🐾

Titer testing is a helpful tool that measures existing antibody levels in the bloodstream. It helps us decide if a booster is necessary or if your pet’s immunity is still going strong. This approach allows us to find a great balance as our patients grow and their lifestyles change!

Our team’s ready to help you navigate these choices to build a plan that fits your pet’s life perfectly. ❤️

Protect your furry family member with a microchip! 💪

A microchip’s a tiny, life saving tool that helps lost pets find their way back to their families. It’s about the size of a grain of rice and sits just under the skin. If your pet ever wanders off, any vet or shelter can scan them to find your contact info!

It’s a quick, simple procedure that offers a lifetime of security. Collars can fall off or tags can go missing, but a chip’s always there. We love knowing our patients have that extra layer of protection! 🐕❤️🐈‍⬛

The fact is clear: Ticks can be active and searching for a host whenever temperatures reach 4°C or higher. This means during mild days in the winter and spring, your pet is still at risk!

We always recommend year-round tick prevention to safeguard your pet against Lyme disease and other serious illnesses.

Don’t let your guard down:
🐾 Check: Always perform a quick body check after walks, even when it feels chilly outside.
🐾 Protect: Ensure your pet’s preventative medication is current.

A new option for patellar luxation repairs - the MamaMia technique performed by Dr. Francesco Piana.

Patellar luxation occurs when the kneecap moves out of its normal position, resulting in abnormal joint mechanics, discomfort and potentially progressive degenerative joint disease.

The MaMaMia implant system provides another surgical option for addressing patellar luxation, with the goal of improving patellar alignment, restoring joint stability and supporting more normal limb function.

These before-and-after images showcase the correction achieved using this innovative implant system.

We're excited to have Dr. Francesco bringing his expertise and experience with advanced orthopedic techniques to our surgical team, continuing to expand the treatment options available for patients with complex joint conditions!
