Meet Akira! The sweetest, gentlest girl who definitely does not let her missing leg keep her from being awesome. We have encountered no issues at all with walking, stairs, getting into the car, or even getting up on the couch. She truly doesn’t miss a beat!
Akira absolutely loves being outside and would happily patrol and enjoy your fully fenced backyard all day long. She isn’t a vocal girl, but she expresses her happiness in the best ways—tail wags, bright eyes, and a constant smile. Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love.
She enjoys her kibble and treats, but her favourite thing in the world is being outside and soaking it all in. She is wonderful on walks, happy to meet other dogs and people, and her friendly, joyful personality draws everyone toward her. The only thing we’ve found she doesn’t like? Bunny ears 😅 Other than that… she’s absolutely perfect.
Akira has completed her Lyme disease medication and is doing AMAZING 💪🐾
We are now looking for an adoptive home for this beautiful tripod girl. Akira will bring so much love, happiness, and light into the right home.
