As many of you know, the Alberta reptile community lost an invaluable member yesterday- 🇨🇦THE ACORN COLLECTION🇨🇦
I didn’t know Bubba well, but he left an unforgettable impression on my reptile-world views.
Bubba was one of the people that indirectly taught me that you don’t always have to agree with someone to respect them.
Did we disagree on things? Sure, but Bubba really was a great human and you just couldn’t dispute it when he was the optimistic cheerleader when a situation was less than ideal, he was patient and devoted, he loved is friends and family so hard, and he was ALWAYS smiling when I talked to him.
The last expo we all vended at, we were outside cry-laughing so hard we could barely breathe. Everybody thought we were nuts when we walked in the back door basically crying, clutching our stomachs and making T-rex impressions.
I will NEVER forget that.
So when I say we lost one of the good ones yesterday, I mean it with every ounce of sincerity.
Rest Easy Bubba.
