🐰✨ Meet Bugs! ✨🐰
Bugs is an adorable Angora cross Lionhead who came in to see Dr. Chow today for his health check! At just 6 months old, Bugs is already showing off his main character vibe and sweet personality. Who can resist such a fluffy guy?

His mom and dad made sure he felt extra secure and brought along his little bumblebee as his partner in crime and emotional support buddy. 🐝💛 We also chatted about his upcoming neuter, and we’re pretty sure Bugs will be bringing his bumblebee back to help support him through that visit too!

Regular health checks are an important part of keeping our rabbit friends happy and healthy, even when they’re feeling their best!

We are still moving! Our updated potential move in date is mid to late November.

We’ve heard your questions, so here’s what we can share:

👉We’ll have approximately 4–5 dedicated parking spaces behind the hospital available for our clients. There is also plenty of street parking along Hastings Street and additional street parking is available on the neighbouring streets around the clinic.

👉No more feeling like everyone is playing a game of where to stand or sit. Our new reception area will be around 500 square feet with lots of seating arrangements which will be separated by species. The additional space will give our patients, clients, and team more room to spread out and will allow us to create a more comfortable experience for everyone.

👉The majority of our diets and products will be on display in the reception area for convenient browsing and selecting.

👉We will have a dedicated Quality of Life room designed to provide a comfortable, peaceful, and private environment away from the activity and noise of the rest of the hospital.

👉There will be a wheelchair accessible restroom for all of our clients to use located in the reception area.

We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to welcome you into our new space!

Stay tuned as we will share more details including the new hospital address near our potential move date.

Meet Heinz! 💚

Can you believe that when Heinz first came to us, he wasn't any bigger than a Sharpie? Fast forward one year, and he's grown into a handsome young adult with plenty of personality!

When Heinz first visited as a tiny baby, we asked him to let us know which bugs Bearded Dragons preferred. He called some of his close Beardie friends to check in. Since he did such a great job, we recruited him again at his one-year visit to reevaluate everything and make sure we were still up to date. 😂🐛

🩺At Capitol Hill Animal Hospital, we recommend annual wellness exams for your reptile to help keep them healthy and thriving. These visits allow us to assess their overall health, review their husbandry, and make sure their environment and care routine are supporting their needs.

Blood work can also provide valuable insight into what’s happening internally, helping us detect concerns that may not be visible from the outside.

Give our hospital a call to schedule your reptile’s wellness exam and help ensure they receive the best care possible. 📞604 299 3395

We're excited to share that we'll be moving into a larger facility this fall, only 1km West along Hastings street. With more room in our reception area, clients and their pets will have extra space to spread out, relax, and even keep some distance if they're pet is feeling a little nervous around other visitors. ❤️

Our team is also looking forward to having more space to work, helping us provide care and comfort for all of your beloved pets.

🌏Before anyone starts searching Google Maps, we're not quite ready to share the new address or official move date yet. We'll be announcing all the details in August.

We can't wait to show you what's next! Stay tuned for more updates.
