🐾💙 Review Friday: Vancouver → London 🇨🇦✈️🇬🇧

From Vancouver to London — and judging by this photo, this little traveler is already doing the sightseeing properly. 😂🇬🇧🐶

For this move, Cassandra and the Relopet team supported the family throughout their puppy’s journey, from navigating the paperwork to meeting them at the airport and helping get their pup safely to his new home.

International moves come with enough things to think about already. When a pet is coming with you, having someone coordinate their travel and guide you through the process can take one very important thing off your shoulders. 💙

We loved receiving this update from London — because this is always the best part: seeing our travelers reunited with their families and starting their new adventures together. 🥹🐾

Thank you, Hailey, for trusting Cassandra and the Relopet team with your fur baby, and for sharing such kind words about your experience!

And to our little Londoner: enjoy your new home. You’ve already nailed the obligatory Tower Bridge photo, so we’d say you're settling in quite nicely. 😂📸🇬🇧

Planning a move from Canada to the UK with your pet? Relopet can help coordinate their journey from preparation and documentation through travel and arrival. ✈️🌎

✈️🐾 Travel Tuesday: Move of the Week — Duchess & Gatsby 🇨🇦 → 🇦🇺

Double the corgis, double the adventure! 😂💙

Meet Duchess & Gatsby, our adorable travellers making the big move from Canada all the way to Australia 🇨🇦✈️🇦🇺

Australia is one of the most complex destinations for pet relocation, with strict biosecurity requirements and a process that needs to be carefully planned well in advance. From veterinary requirements and documentation to permits, flights, and arrival arrangements, there are a lot of steps between “we’re moving!” and those first happy paws on Australian soil.

And for Duchess & Gatsby, that journey is underway 🐾🌏

Just look at those faces — we have a feeling Australia is about to gain two very charming new residents 😍 Although whether the country is adequately prepared for this much corgi personality at once remains to be seen 😂

Safe travels, Duchess & Gatsby! We’re wishing you a smooth journey and the happiest start to your new Australian chapter 💙

Planning to relocate your pet from Canada to Australia? Starting early is especially important for this destination. Relopet can help you navigate the process from preparation to arrival.

🌍✈️ Relopet is heading to Athens! 🇬🇷🐾

This November, Relopet International will be represented at the 2026 Global Exclusive Movers' Network - GEM Network Event, taking place in Athens, Greece, from November 20–22.

Our founder, Dayana Pak, will join relocation and pet transportation professionals from around the world for three days of conversations, connections, and international collaboration 🌎

When your work involves moving beloved pets across borders and continents, having trusted partners around the world matters. Events like this give us the opportunity to strengthen those relationships, build new ones, exchange industry knowledge, and continue expanding the global network behind every Relopet journey.

🍂🐾 Hello, October! 🎃

A new month is here — bringing crisp air, colourful leaves, cozy evenings, and plenty of reasons to celebrate the animals who make life better.

October is Adopt a Pet Month, Pet Wellness Month, and Animal Safety & Protection Month — three reminders to give our companions a little extra love, keep their health and safety top of mind, and support animals still waiting to find their families.

📅 Pet dates to remember this October:

🐾 October 4 — World Animal Day
🐙 October 8 — World Octopus Day
💙 October 14 — Pet Obesity Awareness Day
🎾 October 17 — National Fetch Day
🐱 October 29 — National Cat Day
🎃 October 31 — Halloween

Whether October means long walks through crunchy leaves, an extra wellness check, helping a pet find a home, or figuring out a Halloween costume your pet will tolerate for approximately 3.7 seconds 😂, we hope it’s a wonderful month for you and your furry, feathered, scaled, and eight-legged family members.

And if this fall includes a big move to a new country, Relopet International is here to help your pet get there with you ✈️🌎🐾

Happy October from the Relopet family! 🍁💙

September 30 | National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, we pause to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to listen, learn, remember, and reflect on the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

At Relopet International, we recognize the importance of continuing to learn about the history and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and the ongoing work of reconciliation.

Every Child Matters 🧡

🐾💙 Review Friday: Lucky & Yang — Canada to Ireland 🇨🇦✈️🇮🇪

Sometimes international pet relocation comes with months to prepare. And sometimes… you have about two weeks 😅

That was the case for Lucky & Yang and their move from Canada to Ireland. With a very tight timeline, there was a lot to coordinate quickly — appointments with Canadian authorities, documentation, and even paperwork involving veterinarians in both Chicago and Canada.

This is where careful planning and communication really matter 💙

Cassandra stayed on top of every detail, kept Lucky & Yang’s family informed about what was happening and what needed to happen next, and provided detailed guidance for each stage — right through to what to expect after arriving in Ireland.

And the best part?

Lucky & Yang are now together with their family in Ireland and having the best time! 🇮🇪🐾🥹

Thank you, Lorena, for trusting Relopet with such an important journey and for taking the time to share your experience. And a big shoutout to Cassandra and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this very speedy relocation happen!

From complicated paperwork to happy little faces on the other side of the world — this is why we do what we do 💙

Planning an international move with your pets? The earlier we can start, the better — but when timelines get complicated, having an experienced team in your corner can make all the difference ✈️🌎

Today, for , we’re sharing Katniss’s story.

You may know Katniss as Kat. You may even know her as Relopet’s very serious Director of Purr-sonnel Development 😌

But long before the job title, the comfortable beds, the full food bowls and the strong opinions, Kat was a frightened little cat trying to survive.

She was found on the streets severely malnourished and in pain. She could barely walk normally, moving mostly on her elbows because her body simply hadn’t received the nutrition it needed. A veterinarian later found evidence of an old, healed skull fracture consistent with having been kicked.

She was afraid of people. Afraid of men. Even afraid of slippers.

But little by little, things changed.

There was food every day. Gentle hands. Vet care. A safe place to sleep. And eventually, trust ❤️

Kat got her second chance.

Today, Kat is safe. Healthy. Loved beyond measure. And, naturally, very spoiled and extremely opinionated 😂

Her story is also a reminder of why the work surrounding animal rescue and responsible pet relocation matters so much. At Relopet, we know that sometimes getting a pet safely from one place to another isn’t simply travel logistics. Pets are family, and when families have to cross borders, oceans or continents, leaving them behind shouldn’t have to be the answer.

Kat made it home.

But today, we remember the ones who are still waiting.

The frightened ones.
The injured ones.
The abandoned ones.
The ones someone walked past.
The ones who haven’t met their person yet.

If you can, adopt. Foster. Rescue. Share.

Sometimes one person choosing not to look away is where an entirely different story begins 🕯️❤️

Say hello to this week's traveller—Booker! ❤️

With that bright smile and happy spirit, Booker has officially started his journey from Canada to Australia, where a brand-new adventure is waiting for him 🇨🇦✈️🇦🇺

Moving a pet to Australia is one of the most carefully regulated international relocations in the world. From veterinary requirements and import permits to flight coordination and quarantine planning, every detail matters.

That's where we come in.

Our team worked closely with Booker's family to ensure every step of his journey was carefully planned, allowing them to travel with confidence, knowing their beloved companion was in experienced hands.

At Relopet International, we know pets aren't just passengers—they're family. Every relocation is planned with your pet's comfort, safety, and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

We're so excited for Booker as he begins this new chapter and wish him countless beach adventures, sunny days, and lots of happy tail wags in Australia 🐶☀️
