Mobile condo life 🏠

Why walk into your annual exams when you can arrive in style? 😂 Millie + Ziggy rolled in for their check-ups with their own little mobile condo, comfy, cozy, and no walking required.

Annual exams are an important part of keeping our furry friends happy and healthy, even when everything seems perfectly fine.

And honestly… Millie & Ziggy may have figured out the best way to do vet visits. 👀

🔬 These cells are bad news…

These cytology slides show lymphoma - and sadly, they belong to our sweet friend Jake. 💙

We’re sharing Jake’s story as an important reminder to check those lumps and bumps! Because sometimes a small change on the outside can tell us something much bigger is happening on the inside.

Give your pet an extra little feel today, and if you notice something new or changing, don’t wait to have it checked.

Sending lots of love to Jake and his family. 🐾

When our clients bring the GOOD stuff! 🌽

A HUGE thank you to Lou’s dad, Brad, who surprised the team today with an entire bag of freshly harvested corn!

Safe to say, nobody is going home empty-handed tonight.

We seriously have the sweetest clients, and we’re so grateful when you think of us (and apparently keep us well fed too! 😉).

Thank you so much, Brad! 💚 From all of us! Dinner is officially sorted! 🤗

❤️

Bennie stopped by …

And Dr. Honda’s day got a whole lot cuter. 🥹

We’re not sure who was happier to see who!

Bennie is such a sweet little pup, as you can see, Dr. Honda was more than happy to sneak in a few extra cuddles during his visit. 🩺🐶

Safe to say, Bennie gets two paws up from us! 🐾

Breaking News 🚨 We found it! 🔍🐾

After following every clue, it was time to look a little deeper… literally.

During exploratory surgery, our team discovered a mass on Jake’s liver, finally giving us an answer that fit with the clues we had been seeing along the way.

Even after a thorough ultrasound, this sneaky little mass had managed to stay hidden.

The mass was successfully removed, and Jake was off to recover. ❤️

We’re hopeful this is the turning point for our sweet boy and can’t wait to see him feeling more like himself again.

Keep an eye out for Jake’s recovery update! 🐶

The mystery continued… 🤔🐾

Sometimes in veterinary medicine, we feel a little like detectives, following the clues and piecing the puzzle together.

Jake’s case definitely kept us on our toes. He underwent additional diagnostics, including X-rays, an ultrasound, and Leptospirosis testing, but we still hadn’t found what was making him feel so unwell.

Many possibilities had been ruled out, but the answer was still hiding.

Sometimes the clues aren’t obvious… but we weren’t ready to stop searching. 🔍❤️

Want to know what we found next? Keep an eye out for Jake’s next post! 👀🐾

Following the clues… 🔍🐾

Jake’s bloodwork showed inflammation and elevated liver enzymes, and his blood pressure was high.

The next step was more in-depth testing, including bile acids, thyroid testing, and specialized urine testing. With each result, our doctors gathered more pieces of the puzzle as they continued searching for the cause of Jake’s illness.

The story wasn’t over just yet… ❤️

Jake’s not feeling well 🤒

Our clinic manager Jaimi brought her dog Jake in after noticing a swollen lymph node. Our first step was a thorough exam, along with bloodwork and a blood pressure check, to start gathering clues about what was going on.

Follow along as we work to get this sweet boy feeling better. 🐶💙
