Beginning, middle and end of Cranberry Bog Trail, Killarney. So pretty in the Fall! Shay LOVES hiking, but I think some of my breakfast has her tummy a little upset…. Funny pic of her eating grass though lol 😝

My crew and I ventured to Silver Peak, the highest point in Killarney Provincial Park! A paddle to the trail head, 3 hours up and 3 hours down for a 360 degree view of the entire park 🤩 It was steep but not challenging. Jaw dropping views, enjoy some pics of our adventure!

Bald Eagle sighting today! This is the first time I have seen one in the wild 🤩 It has prey in its talons and flew off to have lunch lol Spotted along the Grand River while enjoying the lazy river 🤩 The highlight of the paddle for me!

Exploring the Florida Everglades was a new experience! We have never shared the water with gators before 🤩 We saw a big one near the dock and a Mama keeping an eye on her nest! Also birds, Iguanas, giant grasshoppers and spiders! It was a great adventure 🐊🐊

WOW! I was in awe today! Check out this amazing tree in Boca Raton, FL! I wasn’t sure what I was seeing at first. Roots coming from the branches?! Huh? Lol

Roots grow down from branches into the soil to act like extra trunks, supporting huge wide branches.

The Banyan Tree is a large fig tree native to the Indian subcontinent, known for its distinctive aerial roots that grow down from branches to form new trunks, creating a vast, multi-stemmed canopy.

Sacred symbol: Hindus and Buddhists view the tree as holy; Buddha is said to have found peace and enlightenment sitting under one.

National tree: It is the national tree of India, representing long life, strength, and eternal life.
