Some dogs are part of the family.

And then there’s Chico… who gets his own giant head at his parents’ wedding. 😂💍

While Chico’s parents were off getting married, Jen was back home with the real thing, keeping him company with one of our Continuous Care stays. 🐾

Continuous Care is exactly what it sounds like: dedicated, around-the-clock care for pets who can’t be left alone. No popping out for errands, no stretches of alone time - just their sitter staying with them, keeping their routine as normal (and spoiled) as possible.

And honestly? When your dog is important enough to make an appearance at your wedding even when he’s not technically at your wedding… we understand the assignment. 😂🤍

Little Zoey learning that adventures come with breaks, too. 🤍🐾

Puppy care isn’t just about keeping them busy, it’s about helping them learn how to move through their day.

When we care for puppies, we work with their existing routines while helping them adjust to a new person, new experiences, and all the big feelings that come with being little. That means potty routines, meals, play, enrichment, appropriate movement, and just as importantly… rest.

Puppies can become overtired and overstimulated pretty quickly, and sometimes they need a little help learning when it’s time to slow things down. Breaks give them an opportunity to decompress, regulate, and process everything they’re taking in, especially during walks and new experiences.

So when Zoey decided Jen’s lap was the perfect place for a mid-adventure reset? We were more than happy to oblige. 🥹

Because good puppy care isn’t about filling every minute. Sometimes the best thing we can give them is a safe place to simply be.

Some dogs just have a little extra equipment but absolutely no shortage of determination. 🐾❤️

Jen recently had the privilege of caring for Carl, who uses a mobility cart to help him get around. And if you think that slows him down, think again.

Dogs with disabilities continually remind us how adaptable, resilient and capable they are. They don’t define themselves by what their bodies can’t do. They learn, adjust, explore and keep moving forward in whatever way works for them.

Providing care for a dog with mobility needs means paying attention to the little things: understanding their equipment, supporting safe movement, respecting their limits and, most importantly, still giving them the opportunity to just be a dog.

We’re so proud of Jen for providing thoughtful, individualized care and making sure this handsome guy could safely enjoy his time outside. 🥹

Some relationships just need a little more time to grow. 🤍🐾

Before Wendy’s first overnight with Maddie, we took things slow: several drop-ins, walks together and lots of opportunities for Maddie to build trust at her own pace.

Behind the scenes, it became a little Pup & Co team effort. We shared observations, learned Maddie’s triggers and comfort levels, and adjusted our approach based on her body language. Part of that meant giving Wendy opportunities to take the lead so Maddie could learn to look to her for guidance and reassurance, too.

No forcing interactions. No rushing milestones. Just respecting boundaries and building trust through positive experiences.

And Wendy absolutely nailed it. 🥹 From those first introductions to a successful overnight, watching their relationship develop has been pretty special.

Sometimes great pet care takes a little patience, a little teamwork, and meeting the dog exactly where they are. 🤍

P.S. Shoutout to Wendy’s camera because LOOK AT MADDIE. 😭📸

Another very hard day at Pup & Co House Care. 🤎

We’re incredibly grateful that even when our clients move outside of our regular service area, they still choose Pup & Co for their pets’ care. And every once in a while, we’re lucky enough to make it happen. 🥹

Timber may have moved a little farther away, but getting to spend evenings like this with him? Worth the drive. 🐾🌊

Sitting in grandpas chair to watch the bunnies go by every morning.
Asking Google to play Yukon by Justin Beiber while you eat breakfast.
Letting me sniff through all the groceries you bring to my house.
Several pages of instructions regarding your personal preferences.

And a team of pet sitters that have been briefed on all of it.

Some might call it high maintenance, Pup and Co calls it excellent taste.

At Pup & Co, we don’t just keep your pets company while you’re away, we learn the lore. The routines. The quirks. The enemies. The non-negotiables. And yes, apparently the Timbit requirements.

Because being deeply invested into someone else’s dog?
