Wishlist Wednesday!

This week, Burlington Humane Society is in need of two items to help us care for our animals and keep things running smoothly:

- A Laminator – to help us with everyday shelter needs.

- Clumping Cat Litter – to keep our cats’ spaces clean and comfortable.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for the animals in our care.

Thank you for always thinking of our furry friends and supporting Burlington Humane Society!

Pet Memorial Service

The first Pet Memorial Service was a wonderfully well-received event to those who recently lost a beloved four-legged family member. Sara Hawkins, Funeral Celebrant, shared impassioned words of comfort and Burlington Humane Society therapy dogs were on hand to offer support. Thank you Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home - Burlington Chapel for offering a space to place the grief and offer closure.

Happy Tails - Persia (Now called Jasmine)

We received a lovely email a while back from Persia's adopters.

"Persia (now called Jasmine), spent her first two months with us hidden under the bed, only coming out to eat when she knew we were asleep or out.

Then suddenly, one day she decided to come out and she has been causing chaos in our house ever since!

She loves playing with ping pong balls all day, lounging on the bed and “helping” to cook whenever anyone goes into the kitchen.
She is very energetic, funny and sweet with everyone, especially children.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to adopt her, she is a wonderful addition to our family."

We are so happy she is doing so well.
