Look at this brave, little boy! 🥰
"Kevin James Bacon" wasn't feeling good at all when he arrived, and it turned out he needed surgery to get back to feeling like a puppy again. All went well and after he spent time resting and recovering, eating meals like a champ, and being the sweetest patient, he was able to go home with his happy family! Now, feeling way better, he is ready for lots of couch cuddles. So happy for this little guy! 😘

We are thrilled to announce an exciting expansion of our Emergency Services at Burlington Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital — beginning mid-August we will be offering gastric foreign body (FB) endoscopy for appropriate patients!

This advanced, yet minimally invasive procedure provides an additional option for select patients with gastrointestinal foreign bodies and may allow retrieval without the need for traditional surgery in carefully selected cases. For eligible patients, this may mean a less invasive approach, reduced recovery time, and a quicker return to the families who love them.
