Calling all youth haflinger enthusiasts! Want to earn some cool halflinger items? Get your registered Haflinger, head out to local schooling shows, Haflinger shows, fairs, organized trail rides, clinics, rated provincial shows or online events and showcase your love for the breed! All that is needed is a registered horse (no need to own it) and a junior membership to CHA ($5.00 for the year). Get out with a registered Haflinger and email [email protected] with your name, membership number and what events you attended.

First time outside for steve for a couple of hours. He enjoyed the snow.
It’s gonna be warmer starting tomorrow, his outside days can be longer then.

This needs to be shared every day by every rider until everyone has seen it and practices it!!
While crossing the highway and having a car blow right past me it made me think maybe people just don't know what the proper etiquette is for passing a horse.
Here is my PSA.....you are passing an animal! While I like to believe I am in full control of this animal. At the end of the day he/she is 1000lbs and fully capable of spooking or jumping at anytime. You should treat passing a horse just as you would passing a deer. Treat it like you don't know what direction they are going, because you don't. If a deer can total out a car imagine what a horse would do. You could likely kill me, my horse, and yourself. If I see you coming, I’ll do my best to get off the road. So as kindly as I can possibly say it, slow down!!! If you have a teen driver, please inform them.

Della gave birth to a beautiful and big stud c**t last night.
She’s a new mom and seems to be learning as she go. She is patient, caring and sweet for him. 🥰
This is the only foal from Ashwin BTA, excited to see how he’ll mature and grow up.

First time that I had to cut the umbelicum cort, the after birth came out right when she stood up so it didn’t break. You learn something new every time.
