We have said our farewell to Dr Harleen Kaur this past week who is off on her next adventures in life. She has been a blessing for Dr Jasmine and the rest of our team here at the Newell Clinic, we will miss her dearly and wish her all the best!

New grooming policy 🫧💉

To help keep everyone safe, we’re implementing a new rabies vaccination requirement for all grooming clients

Rabies is a fatal disease that can be transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, most commonly through a bite. Because grooming involves close, hands on contact — and even the sweetest dogs can react unexpectedly when they’re nervous, uncomfortable or stressed — keeping vaccinations current helps protect your dog and our groomer

Going forward, please make sure we have proof of your dog’s current rabies vaccination before their grooming appointment!

We may be biased, but did we mention we have the best team at Newell Veterinary Services?!

We’re looking for a DVM to join our crew in Brooks, AB—and if a supportive team, great medicine and a clinic with room to grow sound like your kind of place, we’d love to meet you.

Newell Veterinary Services is a beautiful companion animal practice with the equipment, facilities and opportunity to grow a mixed-animal practice of your dreams. Add in meaningful mentorship, a close-knit community, and Calgary just two hours away, and there’s a lot to love about building your career here.

Come meet the team and see Newell for yourself!

A rare beauty graced the clinic with her presence recently, so rare we had to add her breed to our software! This French Water Dog got into some treats that weren't meant for her but is right as rain now!
