Lots of happy faces, wagging tails, zoomies, playtime, and of course, plenty of cuddles! 🥰 We love getting to spend our days with all these different personalities.

Some of our guests love making friends and playing with other dogs, while others are perfectly happy doing their own thing. That's why we offer private rooms and yards, so even dogs who prefer their own space can have a fun, comfortable stay!

We had a little spitfire named Painter come visit us this morning! Painter stopped by with her parents for a tour of our kennel, and she was full of personality! 😂❤️

Did you know that if you're interested in boarding or daycare with us, you're more than welcome to come check out the property first?

We offer tours where you can walk around, see our private yards and kennel houses, ask questions, and get a feel for where your dog will be staying!

We also introduce potential new playmates to our resident kennel dog, Denali! 🐶 Denali helps us get a feel for how new dogs interact with other dogs and whether they might enjoy some playtime with friends. Of course, all introductions are supervised, and we understand that not every dog wants to socialize!

That's why we have private rooms and yards for dogs who prefer their own space, too. ❤️

We loved meeting little Painter and her family this morning, and we hope to see her again soon!

We had a familiar face come spend some time with us this week! 🥰🐾

Daisy has been coming to us for daycare for a long time, but we haven’t seen her in a little while, so everyone was pretty excited to have her back for a visit.

She has always been a staff favourite and hasn’t changed one bit. 😂 Daisy LOVES attention and cuddles. The second you sit down, she takes that as her invitation to climb right into your lap, get comfortable, and stay there for as long as you’ll let her! ❤️

She was also happy to see our kennel dog Denali and some of her other friends again!

For the dogs who enjoy having friends, we mix dogs that get along throughout the day so they have lots of time to run around, play, and hang out together. Some dogs make really good friends here and we love getting to see those relationships grow.

And for the dogs who prefer their own company, that’s okay too! Every dog is different, which is why we also have private rooms and private yards for the dogs who are happier having their own space.

It was so nice having Daisy back. We missed our little lap hog! 😂❤️

A little look at some of the fun from last week at Tikaani-Atka! 🐾❤️

We love seeing all of our guests enjoying themselves, whether that means running around and playing, getting some one-on-one attention, or just relaxing and doing their own thing.

Not every dog wants to play with everyone, and that’s totally okay! We have private rooms and private yards for dogs who are nervous, shy, reactive, or simply happier having their own space. Our goal is to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable while they’re here.

🍦🐾 Today's daycare and boarding crew is serving up a Neapolitan-inspired lineup!

We've got:
🖤 A handsome black Lab mix
💛 A sunny yellow Lab mix
🤍 A gorgeous silver Lab mix

Three beautiful pups, three different shades, and one whole lot of fun! They're spending their day running, playing, sniffing, and enjoying all the attention they can get.

Whether your dog loves making new friends or would rather enjoy their own private play yard, Tikaani-Atka Boarding Kennel has a place for every personality. 🐶❤️

At Tikaani-Atka Boarding Kennel, we know every dog has their own personality.
