Today, we want to recognize Stacy and the incredible person and RVT she is! ❤️

Every veterinary team needs someone who can stay calm when things get hectic, and Stacy is exactly that person. She has a steady, reassuring presence and is always ready to jump in and help, no matter what the situation may be.

One of the things I appreciate most about Stacy is her ability to remain calm during high-stress situations. When things get overwhelming, having someone beside you who stays level-headed, thinks clearly, and is ready to help makes all the difference. She is someone you know you can count on when you need an extra hand, a little support, or simply someone steady by your side.

Every team needs a Stacy — someone who stays steady when the world around them gets a little chaotic! ❤️🩺🐾

Today, I want to give a special shout-out to Kaitlyn! 🩷

As a newly graduated RVT, it’s already so easy to see the kind of technician she is going to become. She pays attention to the little details, takes the time to make sure her patients are cared for, and shows just how deeply she cares about the animals who come through the door. Her compassion and dedication are wonderful things to see as she grows into her career.

And of course, we can’t forget her special love for her Chihuahua patients! With three of her own - those tiny patients have already found a special place in her heart!

She has become our go-to technician for caring for older, more intense dental patients, taking on these challenging cases with confidence, patience, and compassion.

She is always ready to work and willing to help wherever she is needed. No matter what is asked of her. Her reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent patient care make her such a valuable part of the team.

With over 26 years of experience as an RVT Janet has built up an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience.
Over the years, she has helped teach and guide so many new technicians.

The veterinary field is constantly changing, but having someone with her level of experience to learn from is something truly special. The knowledge she shares and the people she has helped along the way are a part of her lasting impact on this profession.

You are truly amazing and a valued member of our team 🐴🐾

We are ending the week off with Jodi - She is one of only a handful of RVTs that get to work in large animal medicine in Nova Scotia!

"Jody Mitton is one of the most incredible and diverse Veterinary Technicians I have had the pleasure of working with.

Jody has a remarkable ability to shine on both the small animal and large animal sides of veterinary medicine. She thrives in emergencies and somehow manages to maintain a calm, level and thoughtful head no matter what situation we end up in.
Whether it’s rescuing roadside turtles, helping pull lambs in the middle of the night during the height of COVID, running anesthesia for many equine procedures, or helping give newborn foals the strong starts they deserve — you can always count on Jody( and this is only on the large animal side!!)

Her skill level is truly unparalleled, but what makes her even more exceptional is her willingness to jump in and help with anything. She has gotten more than a few of us out of some pretty sticky situations over the years, and her knowledge, experience and steady presence have been invaluable to our team.
