EastOzean German Pinschers

Directions

EastOzean German Pinschers Dog lover, trainer and preservation breeder, sharing my life with the intelligent and regal, German Puppies available on occasion to pre-approved homes.

EastOzean German Pinschers is dedicated to raising, training and promoting responsibly bred puppies which conform to the CKC breed standard. We enjoy competing and participating in many events including CKC conformation, obedience, rally, agility, sprinter, chase ability and trick dog training! We believe having a sound mind is equally as important as sound body and strive to showcase the versatility, biddability and intelligence this breed has to offer. While training is our main focus, breeding is done on occasion after careful consideration and evaluation is given to the health, temperament and structure of our dogs. We strive to achieve the very best in all of these avenues in order to maintain breed preservation. We welcome anyone interested in the breed to follow along with our journey or to reach out with any questions.

⚠️Trigger alert⚠️

If you don’t like snakes or you don’t like “unalived” things, scroll on by but THIS is normal life with a high prey drive breed!

One minute we are just enjoying the morning, a little stroll outside and the next thing I know Posh has a snake! To be honest it happened so fast I didn’t see most of it but I didn’t need to, to know what happened.

She instinctively grabbed it and started shaking, her bite was strong enough to chomp the poor soul in half and the force of her shake flung the two parts flying in different directions.

The snake did not suffer but unfortunately for me, HALF went sailing through my open back door and landed on my living room rug!!

On its trip inside it left a trail of splatter which I have spared you all from seeing but you can imagine the scene…

Not the way I expected to start my morning but also not surprised.

THIS IS LIFE WITH GPs

*Posh of course is just fine, pretty proud in fact! There are no poisonous snakes in NS, the salivating is because snakes apparently aren’t that tasty*

Today is National Dog Day!

I don’t miss an opportunity to celebrate the wonderful dogs I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my life with, both past and present!

I want to see who you are celebrating today?

Is it a German Pinscher or a dog of another breed?

We had so much fun at this trial, earning a total of 5 titles between the 3 dogs!

Again, I couldn’t just pick a few fav shots so…here they all are!! Each one of them is fantastic and I just love how well it captures the drive and enthusiasm these guys have!!

Take note that they are diving after a “dead” ball or bumper…meaning it is stationary…yet they still feel the need to kill it 🤣

What’s even more incredible, is that Berlyn, at age 10.5, is still just as driven as she was as a youngster!

We will be working hard to prep for the next levels!

This beauty queen, the Queen B, the matriarch and foundation of EastOzean German Pinschers and my gateway dog into this breed has turned the big 10!!

This dog is more than anything I could have hoped for in for this breed and quite honestly has set a rather standard for any that have followed her. She’s taken me on adventures I didn’t know I wanted to go on and fulfilled dreams I didn’t know I had.

Cheers to my best girl, this marks a decade for me in the breed and I look forward to many more!
