Announcing our very first Wendal's Way Dachshund Rescue 50/50 RAFFLE FUNDRAISER!

Our followers have been incredibly generous helping us with Oscar & Jessie’s significant vet bills. With this 50/50 raffle, half of the funds raised will go directly to paying for their further vet bills & medications, as well as the continuing support of all our dogs in care. The other half of the Jackpot will go to the winner of the draw being held on Sunday, May 31st. The more people who buy tickets, the bigger the prize! (sorry, open to Nova Scotia residents only 😞).

🐾🩵 OSCAR UPDATE 🩵🐾

After Oscar's surgery to remove his mass last month and then the subsequent complications, we're relieved to share that Oscar is now doing great! Not only has he fully recovered from his surgery, he's also lost 5lbs (he was a bit chunky to start). He's going for liver bloodwork later this week and depending on the results, he should be ready to start looking for his forever family very soon! He loves to run and play, loves to be chased when he has a toy in his mouth, loves going for walks, and loves car rides (strangers coming to the door and other dogs...not so much). Keep following us to read his full bio when this delightful little guy is ready for adoption.

ANNOUNCING A WEN'S WAY POP-UP AUCTION!

This little guy's looking for a new home and for a very limited time, you have the chance to bid on adopting him! This incredible latch-hook rug is very special - it was made by one of our rescue’s most dedicated supporters, 98 year old Joe Pach (pictured). Joe dedicated 70 hours to handcrafting this piece specially for Wen’s Way (measures 29”H x 20”W). As an added bonus to the winner, Joe’s family has generously offered to cover the cost of shipping.
