Today we’re giving a BIG Leash ‘N’ Luv welcome to one of the newest members of our pack!

🐶 Meet AXLE!

Axle joined our pack THIS MONTH, and we’re already having so much fun getting to know this handsome boy! 🥰

Axle is a Shepherd, Husky and Greyhound mix, and he is such a unique combination of some pretty amazing breeds.

He’s got that beautiful Shepherd look, those long Greyhound legs, and definitely some Husky personality in there! 😂🩷

One thing Axle LOVES to do is SNIFF. 👃🐾

Everything lol.

Every tree.
Every bush.
Every blade of grass that looks even remotely interesting.

Axle wants to know EVERYTHING that’s happening out there! 😂

He’s such a handsome, sweet boy, and even though he’s only been part of our pack for a couple walks so far, he’s already settling in and showing us his personality.

Every dog that joins Leash ‘N’ Luv brings something completely different to the pack, and getting to know those little quirks is one of my favourite parts of what I do. 🥹

Axle’s sweet, gentle nature, his curiosity, and his love of sniffing absolutely EVERYTHING are already making him a very fun addition to our walks.

🐾🧡 ANOTHER LEASH ‘N’ LUV PACK SPOTLIGHT! 🧡🐾

Today’s spotlight is extra special because we’re celebrating one of our original pack members! 🥹

🐶 Meet NALA! 🐶

Nala is a German Shepherd mix who has been with us since DAY ONE — two whole years ago! 🧡

And what better way to celebrate our 2-year anniversary than by spotlighting one of the very first dogs who joined us on this journey?

Over the past two years, Nala and I have walked WELL OVER 1,000 KM together! 😳🐾

She has always been the PERFECT walk.

We just flow.

No tension on the leash.
No pulling.
No worrying.
No constantly watching her.

And other dogs? Never an issue.

Because Nala is PURE ALPHA. 👑🐺

German Shepherds are known for being intelligent, confident, loyal, courageous, and incredibly devoted — and Nala is such a perfect example of that strong, confident German Shepherd personality.

But she’s also one of the most beautiful dogs I know.

I always call her the Disney princess of dogs. 😂

Not just because she’s absolutely gorgeous, but because she has SO much soul. 🥹🧡

After 1,000+ km together, we know each other pretty well, and there’s something really special about that kind of bond.

Nala was there from the beginning.

She’s been part of the Leash ‘N’ Luv story from DAY ONE, and I’m so grateful she’s still walking beside me two years later. 🩷🧡💛

🐾🧡 ANOTHER LEASH ‘N’ LUV PACK SPOTLIGHT! 💛🐾

Today’s spotlight is on one VERY handsome, VERY sweet, and VERY loved golden boy…

🐶 Meet BROOKS! 🐶

Brooks is a Golden Retriever who joined the Leash ‘N’ Luv pack this summer, and this sweet boy is such a wonderful combination of gentle, loving, loyal, and sometimes…just a little bit stubborn - he’s just a dude that knows what he wants.
😂🐾

Golden Retrievers are known for being friendly, affectionate, intelligent, loyal, and incredibly devoted to their people. They’re gentle by nature and tend to form incredibly strong bonds with their families.

They’re also famously happy, social dogs who love being included in whatever their people are doing.

And Brooks?

He is SUCH a Golden Retriever. 💛

This boy is incredibly gentle and sweet, and there is just something about his personality that makes him so easy to love. 🥹

He has that classic Golden Retriever charm — the sweet face, the happy spirit, the loving nature, and that special ability to make you smile just by being around him. 🐶💛

And then there’s Brooks’ AMAZING sense of direction. 😂🏡

This boy has one of the sharpest GOSs (Golden Orientation Systems™) I have EVER seen.

Brooks is constantly aware of where home is.

He knows where he lives.
He knows which way home is.
And he is ALWAYS keeping tabs on it. 😂🐾🏡

You can almost picture the little internal GPS running in his head during our walks:

📍 Current Location: Out for a walk
📍 Destination: HOME
📍 Status: Brooks knows exactly where we are. 😂

It’s honestly pretty impressive!

And of course, being a Golden Retriever means Brooks is also a VERY spoiled boy. 👑

But can we really blame his parents?!

Just LOOK at him. 🥹

Brooks is clearly so incredibly loved by his family, and his parents absolutely adore him. It’s easy to see how much he means to them and what a special place he has in their lives. 🧡

And we love getting to be a small part of his world too. 🐾

There’s just something so special about getting to know a dog’s individual personality — and Brooks definitely has one that you don’t forget!

He’s sweet.
He’s gentle.
He’s handsome.
He’s loyal.
He’s confident.
He’s a little bit spoiled.
And he ALWAYS knows where home is. 🏡

Basically…

He’s a Golden Retriever through and through. 🥹🐶💛

We’re so lucky to have this handsome golden boy as part of the pack, and we’re so happy to get to spend time with him. 🧡

🐾🧡 ANOTHER LEASH ‘N’ LUV PACK SPOTLIGHT! 💛🐾

Today’s spotlight is on one VERY fluffy, VERY clever, and VERY lovable little girl…

🐶 Meet LULU! 🐶

Lulu is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who has been part of the Leash ‘N’ Luv pack since the very beginning! While she’s been a casual booking with us, every visit with this sweet girl is always something we look forward to. 🥹

And when we say Lulu is fluffy…

WE MEAN FLUFFY. 😂☁️

This girl is basically a walking, four-legged BALL OF FLUFFY CLOUD. ☁️🐶💕

Miniature Australian Shepherds, often affectionately called Mini Aussies, are known for being incredibly intelligent, energetic, loyal and eager to please. They were bred as working dogs and tend to LOVE having something to do — whether that’s learning commands, showing off tricks, playing, or simply being involved with their people.

And Lulu?

She is definitely living up to the breed reputation! 🧠

This girl is SMART.

She knows her tricks, listens to her commands perfectly, and seems to understand exactly what’s being asked of her. She’s one of those dogs where you can practically see the wheels turning in her head! 😂

And then there are the TOYS. 🧸🎾

Ohhhh, does Lulu love her toys!

One of my favourite little Lulu traditions happens at the END of our walks…

I open up her toy cupboard and let her go shopping. 😂🛍️🐶

She gets to dig through her collection and carefully choose THE ONE she wants to take out.

And once Lulu has made her choice, she is one happy girl! 🧸💕

But as smart and playful as Lulu is, there’s another side to this sweet girl that we absolutely LOVE…

She is SUCH a sweetheart. 🩷

The second I start talking to her, Lulu has one very important request:

“Excuse me… can you please rub my belly?” 😂

Down she goes…
Straight onto her back…
Belly proudly presented and READY for those belly rubs. 🩷

She is incredibly loving and affectionate, and those little moments are exactly what make spending time with Lulu so special.

Fluffy? ☁️
Smart? 🧠
Trick master? 🎓
Toy obsessed? 🧸
Professional belly-rub requester? ABSOLUTELY. 😂

Lulu may be a casual member of the pack, but she has definitely earned a permanent place in our hearts. 🧡🐾

We’re so lucky to have known this sweet girl since the beginning, and we always look forward to seeing what toy she’ll choose, what tricks she’ll show off, and how quickly she can flip over for those belly rubs!

🐾🧡ANOTHER LEASH ‘N’ LUV PACK SPOTLIGHT! 💛🐾

Today’s spotlight is on one VERY sweet, very fluffy girl…
🩷🧡💛

🐶 Meet MAGGIE! 🐶

Maggie is an adorable Bernedoodle who was just 9 weeks old when she joined the pack way back in January — which means, this sweet girl is now about 8 months old! 🥹🐾

Bernedoodles are a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle, and they’re known for being intelligent, affectionate, playful and incredibly people-oriented. They often inherit the Bernese Mountain Dog’s sweet, loyal nature along with the Poodle’s smarts and playful personality — and Maggie is definitely showing us plenty of both! 🧡

This girl is SMART. 🧠

She loves zooming around her fenced-in yard, making the most of all that puppy energy! And when it comes to toys… well, Maggie has MANY. 😂

Balls? Fun. 🧸
Squeaky toys? Fun. 🧸
Chew toys? Fun. 🧸
Random toy she hasn’t looked at in 3 days? Suddenly THE BEST TOY EVER. 😂

But as much as Maggie loves her toys and running around, there’s one thing that beats them all…

HUMAN ATTENTION. 🩷

Seriously… sit down, start petting Maggie, and watch her completely melt. 🥹

She will literally fall into a little trance while getting her cuddles, soaking up every second of the attention. She is an absolute cuddle bug and just LOVES being close to her people.

Maggie was such a wonderful little addition to the Leash ‘N’ Luv pack, and watching her grow from a tiny 9-week-old puppy into the happy, playful girl she is today has been SO much fun! 💕

We’re pretty sure Maggie would agree that life is best when it includes a big yard, LOTS of toys, plenty of zoomies… and an endless supply of cuddles.

🐾🧡LEASH ‘N’ LUV PACK SPOTLIGHT! 💛🐾

We’ve been thinking… we spend SO much time with the amazing pups in our Leash ‘N’ Luv family, but we don’t always get the chance to properly introduce them to all of you!

So, we’re starting something new… 💕🐶

PACK MEMBER SPOTLIGHTS

Every pup has their own personality, quirks, story, and special place in our pack. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be shining a little spotlight on some of the wonderful faces you may recognize from our adventures! 🩷🧡💛

And kicking things off are two VERY fluffy faces…

🐶 Meet Gus & Stella! 🐶

These two sweethearts joined us back in June, and yes… THESE ARE PUPPIES! 😂

Gus and Stella are Leonberger/Caucasian Shepherd mix puppies. This mix is known for being incredibly loyal, confident and naturally protective. Originally bred as livestock guardian dogs, they’re built for the job-with impressive size, strength and those gloriously fluffy coats! ☁️🐻

But Gus and Stella?

They’re also just two giant babies who LOVE to have fun. 🥰

🐾 Big paws? ✔️
🐾 Big fluffy coats? ✔️
🐾 Big personalities? ✔️
🐾 Still figuring out what to do with all those legs? DEFINITELY. 😂
🐾 Gentle giant potential? Absolutely! ❤️

Caucasian Shepherds are one of the larger guardian breeds, and these two have a LOT of growing left to do. They’re intelligent, independent and devoted - and Gus & Stella are already showing us plenty of personality!

They’ve brought so much fun, fluff and puppy silliness to Leash ‘N’ Luv, and we’re absolutely delighted to have them as part of our pack. 💕

As another school year comes to a close, it’s bittersweet here at Leash ‘N’ Luv. 🩷🧡💛

Summer means sunshine, vacations, and well-deserved time off for so many of my wonderful teacher clients. While I’m so happy they get to enjoy this season with their families, it’s always hard saying goodbye to the amazing fur babies and their incredible humans.

Today, one of my teacher families left me this beautiful card, and it truly made my day. Gestures like this remind me just how lucky I am to do what I love. 🐾🥹

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for trusting me with your precious pups. Wishing all of my teacher families a relaxing, fun-filled summer - you’ll be missed, and I can’t wait to hopefully see those wagging tails again in the fall! 🐶
