Hi, I'm Ralph!

I know what you're thinking... "Ralph?" Yep! I may have a traditionally boyish name, but I'm a five-year-old lady, and I wear it proudly.

I'm at that wonderful age where I've outgrown the kitten chaos and have perfected the balance between playtime, naps, and quietly keeping you company. If you're looking for a cat who's happy to share your home and become part of your daily routine, I could be just the one.

My ideal home is one where I can settle in at my own pace, find a few favourite sunny spots for lounging, and enjoy all the little things that make life good—cozy beds, tasty treats, and people who appreciate the company of a sweet feline friend.

If you've been thinking about adding a cat to your family, I'd love the chance to meet you. I promise not to judge your choice of TV shows... too much. 🐾

Hi, I'm Storm. Yes, that Storm. If it starts raining the day you come to meet me, that's purely a coincidence... probably. I can neither confirm nor deny that I have some influence over the weather.

I'm a handsome 5-year-old Maine C**n mix with plenty of charm to match my good looks. I've mastered the art of looking majestic while supervising everything happening around me, and I'm always happy to be the centre of attention when the timing is right.

My ideal home? One that appreciates a cat with a little personality, a lot of fluff, and room to settle in and make the place my own. I'll happily take care of quality control by inspecting your windows, keeping an eye on the birds, and making sure your couch gets plenty of use.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with movie-star looks and the occasional weather-related coincidence, I think we should meet. Just don't blame me if there's thunder in the forecast. 🌩️🐾

If you're bringing a large quantity of items, please give us a call first at 519-756-6620. Donations can be dropped off Tuesday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Just leave your items at the shelter door.

We're partnering with our friends at to bring training opportunities to you! Real World Ready is a drop-in group training class from Dharma Dogs Training & Rehabilitation held outdoors in the back field at the Brant County SPCA, twice a month from spring through October.

Hi, I’m Ozzy 🐾

I’m a young guy with a lot of energy and an even bigger heart. I’m currently recovering from an injury, which means I need to stay on-leash and can’t go full speed right now, even though I’d really like to. I still have plenty of pep in my step, I just need a bit of help managing it while I heal.

New people can make me a little unsure at first, but I don’t take long to come around. Once I know you, I’m very loyal—the kind of dog who really sticks with his people. I love being close to the humans I trust, and I’m happiest when I can just be near you, whether that’s following you around the house or curling up beside you.

I’d do best in a home that understands I still need structure and patience while I recover and continue learning. A calm routine and someone who can help me keep my energy in check would go a long way. Ideally, I’d love a home where someone is around most of the time (working from home would be perfect) because I really enjoy company and don’t like being on my own for long.

I may need a little extra care right now, but I’ve got a lot of love to give and I don’t forget my people 💚
