Some days are long, messy, emotional and exhausting… but then I look at these little moments and remember exactly why I do this 🤍

The trust from nervous pups
The happy tail wags
The senior dogs who need a little extra help
The cuddles, kisses, and goofy personalities

This job is so much more than haircuts to me. I genuinely love building relationships with these pets and being someone they feel safe with. Even on the hard days, this job still makes me happy 🐾

Wrigley has been coming to me for a few years now 🤍
and this is exactly why I push a consistent grooming schedule, especially for my senior dogs.

When they’re coming every 4–10 weeks, everything feels familiar to them the sounds, the routine, the handling… it’s not overwhelming because it’s not new every time

I can go slower with them, support them where they need it, and keep the whole process as low stress as possible and they learn to trust it.

When dogs go too long between grooms, it becomes harder on their body and their mind. They’re standing longer, tolerating more, and trying to process something they’re not used to anymore.

Regular grooming isn’t just about keeping them looking nice. It truly makes a difference in their comfort, their stress levels, and their overall experience.

This is what years of consistency, patience, and trust can look like 🤍
Especially for my seniors like Wrigs who deserve that extra care every step of the way. Even if my back hurts later 😆
