🐴🤎 MEET OUR NEWEST ADDITIONS! 🤎🐴

We’re so excited to welcome THREE new faces to the barn! 🥳🐴 Help us give a big welcome to Roxy, Cowboy, and Hawk! ❤️

We have one beautiful mare and two handsome geldings joining our herd, and we can’t wait to get to know them and see what the future holds for these three! 🐎✨

We’re always looking for ways to grow and improve our herd, and we’re so happy to have these new additions become part of our barn family! 🫶

🐴 FOR SALE – 23-YEAR-OLD MARE 🐴

April is a sweet girl looking for her next home! ❤️ She is a retired barrel horse who has spent the past couple of years in our lesson program. She has been a wonderful lesson horse and has taught many riders along the way. 🥹❤️ We are sad to see her go, as she has been a special part of our program, but we feel it’s time for her to enjoy a slower-paced lifestyle.

She is a Quarter Horse and is in great body condition for her age and has been living in a group of mares and geldings. She seems to be closer to the top of the pecking order, but she isn’t rude about it!

NOTE: April has decided that she’s DONE with the fast-paced riding life and would prefer to take things easy! 😂❤️ She will not go any faster than a walk, not due to any known injuries, but simply because she’s done. We’re hoping to find her a home where she can enjoy a slower pace, whether that’s going for the occasional trail ride, enjoying relaxed time with her person, or being a companion horse.

🌟 PROS:

* Has been part of our lesson program for the past couple of years, so she is used to kids
* Used to cars, quads, etc.
* Easy keeper — maintains her weight without extra feed
* Good for her feet
* Still good to ride once you’re on
* Has gone on trail rides alone and is comfortable leaving the yard
* Could make a nice kids’ horse for relaxed, walk-only rides
* Would suit a home looking for light riding, occasional trail rides, or a companion horse
* Responds to leg pressure
* Is neck reined

⚠️ CONS:

* 23 years old
* Will not go faster than a walk — she has officially retired from fast riding!
* Has become grumpy about being ridden frequently
* Will nip when being saddled or when mounting
* Can be difficult once she decides she’s done (she’s a mare with an opinion! 😂)

Because of some of Aprils nipping habits it would be beneficial for her to go to an already horsey home with people who will understand her attitude and how to correct her properly!

April has been a wonderful part of our lesson program, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we want to do what’s best for her and find her a home where she can enjoy this next chapter of her life. ❤️🐴

We’re Looking to Expand Our Herd!!🐴

We’re hoping to add a few more horses to our herd and are currently looking for kid-friendly, safe, and dependable horses to join our barn! ❤️

We’re especially interested in horses that would be suitable for riding lessons, trail rides, and family-friendly experiences.

💰 We are looking for horses at a reasonable price, as we want to find the right horses without breaking the bank.
