Did you know that ticks are out and active any time it is above 0 degrees, even if there's snow on the ground?
It is the time to start your pets on tick and flea prevention to prevent them from hitching a ride on your pet and potentially infesting your home without you knowing.

It also prevents your pets from contracting any tick-borne diseases, such as Lyme Disease, which both pets and people can get. Lyme disease can also be expensive to treat if they contract it through an infected tick, and it can unfortunately make our pets very sick if they do.

We always highly encourage looking into the symptoms of this disease, so you always know what to look for and when your pet needs to be seen by a vet.

Preventative care is the best way to stop ticks and fleas from attaching themselves to your pets, infesting your home, or jumping to a different host, which would include other pets AND people in the home.

If your pet has been bit by a tick, we always recommend getting a blood test done in about 4-6 weeks post bite to ensure that the tick was not carrying any diseases and transmitted them to your pet.

Important information ℹ️

Do you know about leptospirosis? It's a disease caused by bacteria carried mainly by rodents and wildlife. Pets can become infected through contact with the urine of infected animals such as raccoons, skunks and rats. Dogs can also contract the disease by swimming in stagnant water or simply by drinking contaminated puddle water.

If your outdoor activities could put your dog at risk, speak to your veterinarian to learn if the leptospirosis vaccine is suitable for your pet.

This sweet girl is looking for the perfect family.

Meet Winnie! ��
This 7-month-old white and tan American Bulldog cross sweetheart is ready to find a family of her very own. While she may look bigger in photos, Winnie is actually on the smaller side, weighing in at just under 40 lbs.
Winnie is a very sweet girl who is eager to please and absolutely loves attention. She thrives on spending time with her people, whether that means playing, learning something new, or simply soaking up affection.
This smart pup is already crate trained, house trained, and great on car rides, making her a wonderful companion for both everyday life and adventures.
Her foster family has shared that Winnie does well with other dogs when proper introductions are done, and she seems to really enjoy the company of kids.
Winnie is not yet spayed, but her spay will be included in her adoption fee.

We will not have a Doctor in, but will be open for food and mediation pick up only.
