👉🏻A success story I would say!
This is a young mare that really gave me a decent time trying to get her all figured out. Lots of hormones, lots of patterns and a busy busy brain! Two sessions with her has done a great amount of difference. She was described as moody, and inconsistent before the treatments. By the second treatment I managed to access certain landmarks that were common areas of tension for a hard cycling mare, and a few other areas of discomfort by compensation. Safe to say that this girl looks and feels incredible making a sweet 1D run. It is no doubt that this jockey is also incredible… but it is very evident this girl wants to WORK!🔥🔥 Can’t wait to see what these two get done this fall. Way to go girls!!💜 Thanks for choosing me to be apart of it all!

AUGUST 17-21 FINAL OPENINGS

This is so beyond crazy to say… but this is my FINAL week working in the lakeland😥💜
Monday-Friday, with some exceptions to the weekend is my final week working on horses in the north east…
If you were pondering about getting your pony looked at, do it this week! I’m already pretty full… But i’m doing it all to get everyone in! End of august sure came quick!

This mare was unique about it! But freed up, unrestricted jaw movement is the most incredible feeling. If anyone knows what jaw pain is like, you know exactly that same relief!! I know i do😉

Everyone meet Tater, or potato if you want to be proper…
He is the sweetest baby Corgi that will most likely be apart of most appointments as my travel buddy.
He loves to sleep, eat, sleep and maybe take the odd nap!
No I don’t charge for cuddle therapy, it’s all free💕🐾

To some it may look like changing disciplines and unfocused attention on the wrong things.
However Bodyworkers and anyone who understands biomechanics realizes that multiple training programs and different exercises actually strengthens the minds of equine athletes. We see it everyday with high performance horses that compete in both Team roping, heading-heeling and barrel racing. Two events where the horse is working different muscle groups. Not only does cross training improve the versatility of your horses, but the overall athleticism and endurance reducing continuous strain. Having a fresh system to work with also helps us to understand what it does for their minds. I’ve always been one to say that if there’s something’s not quite right, keep their minds busy! Barrel racing can get boring to some, and keeping their minds fresh can be super helpful!
Recently we’ve added small jumps and trotting poles to Empys exercise program. She avidly does cattle work, and roping as well helping to keep things different.
Not only does she love jumping, but this helps tremendously to strengthen their core, and exercise their depth perception. Transferring into barrel racing, core is a necessity and footing is very important💪🏻 Riding english sure does help your seat as well which we all know is a need on the pattern:)

Post of perseverance today! 💜
Our girl Ginny participated in the Race for the rose this weekend on a different mount than usual.
——
Lincoln, Ginny’s main mount, sustained an acute injury over the last week resulting in a horse change last minute. Some minor swelling had her worried, and she made the decision to let him sit out this weekend no matter what it meant for her. Her love for horses and their well-being is so good to see, and her perseverance and drive to face adversity this summer is something she should be proud of.
This is not the only time that her horse had become injured or unable to race due to some other respiratory conditions. She’s been through it this summer and she’s still standing!!
Even though this weekend she had a horse change, she went out and rode her best!
Running better and faster each run, even catching a little money today in the 2D! Wooop Woop! I am incredibly pleased to have this kiddo be a part of my team. So proud of you!
Sporting the Hailo Equine Patch and all it stands for this weekend is something so special💜💜

Busy Busy Busy!
Recovering from our last weekend at the Race for Responders barrel race, we have been prepping for a new event. The Carolyn Winterburn 5 year memorial barrel race is our next stop this weekend. She will post the prizes up for grabs this weekend, while I start working on building my inventory back up again💜
