Meet Tim 👋

Owner of Paws, Claws & Hooves — and a true entrepreneur extraordinaire.

After years in the big city business world, Tim found his way back to his roots and the things that matter most to him: small-town living, community, and pets.

If you’ve ever walked into the store, you’ve probably already experienced the passion and knowledge he brings to the table. Whether you need help choosing the right food, finding a supplement, fitting a harness, or just talking pets for a while, Tim genuinely cares and is always happy to help.

His vision for the store has always been simple: create a welcoming place for both pets and the people who love them.

And honestly? We think he’s done exactly that. 🐾

Tim has also been an incredible mentor to budding future business gurus in town, offering support, collaboration, and guidance wherever he can.

We wanted to take a moment to thank him for bringing such a gem to the community, and for his generosity in giving back, helping others, and lifting up small businesses in the Crowsnest Pass.

Also, he comes with the coolest duo: Eddy & Lola. The three of them make quite the crew!

It’s officially a thing… free birthday treats at Paws, Claws & Hooves 🎉🐾

Local pup Nala was the very first to claim her birthday bag of Bacon Blastin’ Crunchy O’s from Fromm Family Foods.

If it’s your dog or cat’s birthday, follow us on IG or Facebook and bring them into the store for their free birthday treat (currently Crunchy O’s) on their special day!

Because celebrating pets is kind of our thing around here. 🐶🐱

We’re so excited because Jo has officially started and is bringing her dog expertise to the table at the store 🐾

We’re launching a weekly series where Jo will be sharing practical, simple dog behaviour tips to help you and your Pups of the Pass live your best lives together.

From training basics and leash manners to confidence building, enrichment, and understanding your dog better, we’re excited to bring more education and support to our local pet community.

We always joke that we should open the other half of the store as a coffee shop because somehow Paws Claws & Hooves has turned into the unofficial hangout hub for the pups (and humans) of the Pass. ☕🐾

What started as a pet supply store has quickly become a little community gathering place where dogs come to sniff around, make friends, collect treats, and drag their humans through the front door.

Honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, come say hi! You’ll be greeted by friendly locals, helpful staff, and probably at least a few dogs making themselves right at home.

We can’t wait to meet you and your furball. 🐶🤍

I’m so excited to be working with as the human behind the socials, community content, and organic marketing.

You’ll probably see me dropping by the store with Nala, asking, “Can I take a picture of your dog?” because celebrating pets is kind of my favourite thing. 🐾📸❤️

In addition to Paws Claws & Hooves, I run my own freelance social media business. When Tim and I first connected, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to bring our love for pets, community, and content together. So here I am!

I’m big on celebrating pets and supporting our local community, so feel free to message us if you have a pet-friendly event coming up in the Pass this summer that we could potentially be involved in

Also, we want to feature as many pups of the Pass as we can so, don’t hesitate to reach out, send us a photos and vids of your pups loving their best life in our beautiful corner of the world, and we’ll feature them.
