🐾🤍 BARK INN UPDATE! NEW SERVICES, UPDATED POLICIES & MORE! 🤍🐾
We’ve made quite a few changes here at Bark Inn Boutique Boarding over the last couple of months! As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for ways to make booking easier, improve our services and provide the best possible experience for the dogs in our care.
Whether you’re a longtime Bark Inn family or considering booking with us for the first time, here’s everything you need to know! 🥰
🏡 BOARDING & MINIMUM STAYS
We’ve made our boarding options more flexible!
🐾 ONE-NIGHT STAYS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
• Sunday–Thursday arrivals can now book single-night stays!
• Friday arrivals still require a minimum of two nights.
• Peak-season minimum-stay restrictions still apply.
We know not everyone needs multiple nights of care, so we’re excited to make Bark Inn more accessible for shorter trips!
⏰ DROP-OFF & PICKUP APPOINTMENTS
Our appointment hours remain:
Sunday–Friday | 10 AM–8 PM
Saturdays | CLOSED
All drop-offs and pickups are strictly by appointment.
Your confirmed appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Please arrive at your scheduled time and do not assume last-minute changes can be accommodated.
We send booking confirmations and multiple reminders to help everyone stay organized. Please read these carefully!
🐶 NEW GUESTS & TRIAL OVERNIGHTS
Great news for new families! Trial overnights are no longer mandatory for every new guest!
All new dogs must complete our New Guest Registration, which allows us to review their temperament, routine and boarding experience before approval.
Some dogs may still require a trial overnight depending on their individual needs.
🦴 FOOD & ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS
To keep our boarding room clean, organized and running smoothly, we’re reinforcing a few important requirements!
🥣 NO LOOSE BAGS OF KIBBLE!
All meals must arrive either:
• Individually portioned for each feeding.
• In a labelled, airtight food container with a scoop.
🛁 CLEAN DOGS ONLY!
All guests must arrive reasonably clean and deshedded. Farm and acreage dogs must be bathed within 24 hours of arrival.
Dogs arriving excessively dirty may be subject to our $25/day cleaning fee.
These requirements help us maintain the clean, comfortable environment our guests deserve!
💉 HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
All boarding guests must have:
• Current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations.
• Flea/tick prevention and deworming.
• Appropriate kennel training and house manners.
• A temperament suitable for our small-group boarding environment.
• Complete compatibility with cats.
Bark Inn is a boutique boarding facility, not a rehabilitation or behavioural training facility. We carefully select our guests to maintain a safe, peaceful environment for everyone.
🐈 NEW! CAT DROP-IN VISITS
We’re excited to welcome Bria to the Bark Inn team!
Bria is now offering in-home cat visits for families who need someone to check on their kitties while they’re away.
Visits can include feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship and optional litter care, with packages and additional household services available!
All visits are booked through our online system, and meet-and-greets can be arranged before longer bookings.
If Bria is unavailable, Jayde can step in to provide care!
🐕 DOG WALKING UPDATE
Our originally planned dog-walking launch has been cancelled. However, limited evening or weekend walks may still be available through Bria or Jayde.

✂️ GROOMING IS BACK — FOR ONE WEEK ONLY!
From October 19–24, we’re offering evening grooming appointments!
Full grooming includes bathing, blow-drying, nails, ears, paws and a deshed or basic haircut/shave.
Full Groom Pricing:
🐾 Small — $80
🐾 Medium — $100
🐾 Large — $120
🐾 X-Large — $140
Bath and blow-dry packages with nails are half the full-groom price!
Maximum weight is 100 lb. Specialty cuts and puppy cuts are not available.
Appointments are limited, so message us to reserve your spot!
🎁 NEW LOYALTY & REVIEW REWARDS
We’ve simplified our rewards programs!
Our Long-Term Family Reward recognizes families who continue choosing Bark Inn year after year, with increasing nightly discounts for eligible returning clients, up to $5/night!
We’ve also introduced a $20 boarding credit for clients who leave us both an in-app review and a Google review!
Your feedback helps other families discover Bark Inn and means so much to our small business. 🤍
📲 BOOKING, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
All boarding and cat drop-in reservations are managed through our Book’n Customer app.
Please ensure your profile, pet information, vaccinations and required waivers are completed before requesting a reservation.
Boarding payments are due in full at drop-off unless prepayment is required. Cat drop-in visits are paid when booking.
Our cancellation policy remains in effect, including the 48-hour grace period after creating a reservation. Please review all terms before confirming your stay.
🏡 TOURS & OUR BOARDING ENVIRONMENT
As a small, home-based boarding facility, our guests’ comfort always comes first.
We do not accommodate unscheduled tours or visitors entering the boarding room while dogs are present.
Many of our guests thrive on consistency, familiar caregivers and a quiet environment. Unexpected visitors can create unnecessary excitement, barking and stress.

We never want to become a high-volume boarding facility. Our goal has always been quality over quantity, and that will never change.
