Happy RVT Month:
When you need your veterinarian, you need a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), too!
RVTs are an essential part of your pet’s healthcare team. They work alongside your veterinarian to provide compassionate, skilled, and hands-on care at every stage of your pet’s life.
But what exactly does an RVT do?
🐾 Monitor your pet’s vital signs and safety under anesthesia
🐾 Assist with surgeries and medical procedures
🐾 Collect samples and perform laboratory testing
🐾 Administer medications and treatments
🐾 Take X-rays and perform diagnostic testing
🐾 Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
🐾 Educate pet owners and answer questions about their pet’s health
🐾 Provide comfort, reassurance, and a whole lot of love when your pet needs it most
From puppy visits to senior wellness checks, dental procedures to emergency care, RVTs are there to support your pet and your veterinarian every step of the way.
Your veterinarian diagnoses and develops the treatment plan, and your RVT plays a vital role in bringing that plan to life. 💙
This RVT Month, we’re celebrating the knowledge, dedication, compassion, and hard work our Registered Veterinary Technicians bring to our team every single day!
Next time you visit us, give a little extra love to the RVTs helping care for your furry family members. 🐶🐱
