🌾 Shadowlands Ranch is Hiring! 🌾

We’re looking for a casual/part-time barn hand to join our team!

At Shadowlands Ranch, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to our horses through detailed feeding programs and top-notch daily routines. We’re looking for someone who shares those same values and has a strong work ethic.

🕒 Evening and weekend shifts
💵 Perfect for someone looking to make some extra cash
📍 Located just 5 minutes SE of Beaumont, AB

Duties include:
• Mucking stalls & general cleaning
• Feeding & prepping feed
• Administering medications
• Turn-in/turn-out & blanketing
• Checking horses, waterers, and overall wellbeing

Requirements:
• Must be 18+
• Have reliable transportation
• Own a working cell phone
• Have horse experience and strong communication skills
• Must complete an Equine First Aid Course (can be done after hiring if not already completed)

Shifts are 2–3 hours each, minimum 2x/per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts when others need coverage.

• Option to work off part of your board if you bring a horse
• Potential to lease a horse (depending on the person)
• Or simply enjoy a flexible paid position in a great environment

🚨 Emergency Preparedness Course

🚨We are hosting an Emergency Preparedness Course on Sunday, June 7 starting at 10:00am. Approx 3 hours.

We hosted one last year and it provided some really valuable information on how to be best prepared in case of emergencies such as evacuations, wildfires, severe weather events, and other unexpected situations involving our horses and property.

If you would like to attend, please PM me ASAP. Spots are limited to a maximum of 30 participants. There are currently 15 spots available.

Please email, text or pm to book! $60/person. Etransfers can be sent to [email protected] to secure your spot.

I need final numbers to the instructor by this Friday so she can order course books ahead of time.

Highly recommend for all farm/barn/animal owners.

It’s that time of year again!!! Time to spiff up our jumps in preparation for our show in 2 weeks 🐴✨

Over the next little while you may see us painting, fixing rails, cleaning standards, and getting everything looking fresh and show ready! Thank you in advance to everyone helping out — it takes a village to get everything prepped for show season and we appreciate all the support 💙🧡
