Coming to you this Saturday July 25th we’ve got a locals takeover coming your way! Surely you guessed who it was going to be, right?! This adventurous guy isn’t just taking over our hearts, he’s taking over the world! Our winner for Doggy in the Window 2026 and all around good boy Casper Barker Howland 🤍🐾😍

We are also excited to be partnering with Nulo Pet Food for this takeover! Casper can’t wait to show you some of his favourite treats that you can pick up in store! 🦴

We asked Casper’s mum to tell us a little bit about Casper to get everyone excited for his upcoming takeover! ✨🐾

Casper is such a big goofball. He’s silly and playful, and such a sassy little diva. He’s also incredibly loving and loyal.
His favourite things in life are simple - play time with other dogs, hanging out with his humans either out on a hike or snuggled on the sofa, and of course, food!

This year our Doggy In the Window 2026 Winner Pup is....the.friendly.floof!

Casper has an amazing story! Picked up by he was waiting 6 weeks for his person to come along. And it turns out she wasn't far at all. In fact, she works for the very people who bought him to the Bow Valley. Casper left the shelter as a foster and ultimately he never looked back. He had found his forever home and has been an official Bow Valley resident since June 2025!

Casper is a goofball! He is incredibly loyal and loving, with a side of sass! He's an adventurous guy who loves being with his friend. He is also an absolute cuddle bug and LOVES food!

This Years Second Place winner for our Doggy In the Window competition is Bumper!

Bumper has been a Bow Valley resident since March 2024, when he arrived as a tiny little pup! He is the definition of "small dog, big bark"! He makes sure everyone knows he is around, greeting people as they go past him in exchange for pets and belly rubs.

Bumper loves everything the Bow Valley has to offer, especially running around in the snow! He never misses a chance to play and explore when winter comes around 🌨

Pictured with Bumper is his best friend Junie, they love taking on the mountains together!

This years Runner Pup for Doggy In the Window 2026 is... !

He is a quirky playful pup who is a huge Canada lover! He loves going on adventures all around the US and Canadian national parks! He loves howling at sirens and getting pats from all the humans he meets!

This San Diego resident may not be from the Bow Valley, but he is an offical pup ranger to us! 🍁

🎖 Canine Congeniality 🎖

With our Doggy in the Window winners being announced tomorrow, we wanted to build the excitement! We received so many incredible submissions this year that choosing our winners wasn't easy.

This year, we're giving out two Canine Congeniality Awards to pups whose entries stole our hearts. While they didn't take home the top prize, we think they deserve a special shoutout! 🐾

✨ Porter (pictured first) has been a Bow Valley local since March 2024. She's a lovable girl you may have spotted hanging out on local patios with her humans and furry friends. Porter is as sweet as they come and always ready to make a new friend.

✨ Remi (pictured second) has called the Bow Valley home since May 2023. Bursting with Aussie energy, she's happiest exploring the mountains, running with her friends, and embracing every adventure. She's equal parts majestic and mischievous!
