The Calgary Canine Centre presents a 2-day distance seminar October 11 & 12, 2025 with Jeannie Biggers, an experienced seminar presenter and passionate dog trainer. Jeannie has numerous accomplishments in dog agility, including winning the NADAC Championship Stakes classes three times and placing in the Regular classes at Champs many times. She specializes in distance training and loves to help others improve their distance skills. The seminar will cover foundation training as well as building and improving on big distance. Limited working spots are available, and registration forms can be found on the Calgary Canine Centre website. Private sessions with Jeannie may also be available on Monday, October 13th, if there is interest.

Our entries are extremely low for the Calgary Canine Centre Nadac Trial this weekend November 2 & 3. If we don't receive enough entries by Wednesday noon we are going to have to cancel the trial. I really appreciate your support.

The Calgary Canine Centre is starting a new set of Agility and Canine Scent Detection classes. Our next set of beginner agility classes start Monday September 12 at 6:45 PM they are 8 week classes for $306.60 including gst. The Agility classes are held at Navigator Ranch Arena in De Winton. The next set of Canine Scent Detection classes start Wednesday September 7 at 7:30 PM they are 4 weeks for $147.00 including gst. The Canine Scent Detection classes are held at the Cedarbrae Community Hall. There are still a few spaces available in the classes.

The Calgary Canine Centre has a set of beginner agility classes starting Monday May 9 at 6:45 PM at Navigator Ranch in De Winton. We are also holding a Level 2 at 8 pm and two agility handling classes for those of you that want to improve on your course skills at 6:45 and 8 pm. There are still a few spots left in all classes. The Calgary Canine Centre is offering Scent Detection classes starting Wednesday April 6 at 7:30 PM at the Cedarbrae Community Hall. The cost is $140.00 for 4 weeks. The classes are for anyone that would like to try it and see if their dog likes it or for dogs that have done some scent work and want to build on their skills. If you would like to register for the class please fill out the class registration form on our website and email it to me.
