🐾 Tuesday Exploration Day! 🐾

The morning started off a little rainy, so after Lucy arrived, we spent some time playing ball before heading out on an adventure.

We're lucky to be surrounded by some amazing local farmers who have given us permission to explore their valley and bush areas. How awesome is that? ❤️

With the dogs loaded up, we headed out to see what the day had in store. As it turns out, we didn't need to hike very far! Everyone was having so much fun exploring the tall grass, sniffing new smells, and splashing through the water.

Coco may have been having a little *too* much fun and temporarily lost her off-leash privileges. 😂🐾

After our adventure, we headed back home where the dogs unanimously decided it was time for more ball chasing. 🎾

Later in the afternoon, Winnie returned and received a very enthusiastic welcome from her friends.

Now that the excitement has settled down, I think it's safe to say everyone is pretty tired after their big day of exploring, playing, and making memories. ❤️

Days like this are what dog daycare is all about.

❤️ Charlie Appreciation Post ❤️

We love spending time with Charlie, and this visit we got a whole week with her!

Charlie is our resident ball stealer and chase instigator. If there's a ball involved, chances are Charlie has claimed it as her own and convinced at least one other dog to chase her for it. 🎾😂

When she's had enough of the dog shenanigans, she transforms into my little shadow, following me everywhere and making sure she's never too far away from the action. And when it's time to relax, she's always ready for snuggles. ❤️

Charlie brings so much fun, personality, and love wherever she goes, and it's always a pleasure having her stay with us.

❤️ Winnie Appreciation Post ❤️

Winnie is our sweetest senior visitor, and we're lucky to be spending so much time with her this month.

Every day starts with her important perimeter checks around the yard, making sure everything is exactly as it should be. After that, she's usually off to investigate what's cooking in the kitchen. 🐾🍳

Rainy days are Winnie's favourite. While the younger dogs are busy causing chaos, she's perfectly content to curl up on the couch and enjoy a good snuggle. ☔❤️

We're pretty sure she enjoys going home and getting a break from all the dogs after her visits, but we always love having her here.

🐾 We made a new friend today! 🐾

Meet Miss Lucy, the poodle. ❤️

Lucy has had a rough background and takes a little time to warm up to new people. It was wonderful to watch her come out of her shell today and begin to trust me.

She absolutely loved chasing the ball (the bringing it back part was apparently optional 😆) and spent her day playing tag with the other dogs.

Most importantly, everyone got along really well, and Lucy looked like she was having fun and gaining confidence as the day went on.

Watching dogs feel safe enough to relax, play, and be themselves is one of the best parts of what I do. 🐕❤️

⚡️ Well... we got some new dog balls from Amazon, and as soon as I saw the colours, they reminded me of the Hogwarts houses.

Naturally, I had to do a thing. 😆

So today, the dogs were separated and given the chance to choose their own Harry Potter House! 🐾⚡️

🦁 Gryffindor
🦅 Ravenclaw
🦡 Hufflepuff
🐍 Slytherin

Some choices were exactly what we expected... and some were a complete surprise! 😂

Unfortunately, Duck was unable to participate. Due to his lack of teeth, he couldn't pick up a ball to make his selection. ❤️

I took this weekend to try a dock diving workshop with my 2 dogs; Goose and Zoey.

It was so nice to try something new and I think I might have a dock diving dog.
