Hounds Unlimited

We were so lucky to have Russ and Augie spend 2 weekends, in a ROW!

Russ loves to tell everyone they are doing things wrong. Augie is the sweet scruffy man that's down for everything.

We can't wait to see them again soon!

Fun times with Miss Coco, we were so lucky to spend 2 different weeks with Coco!

We tried a new leash out that allows us to walk multiple dogs at once.

Always a fun time with this crazy girl.

🐾💕 Winnie’s Little Weekend Visit! 💕🐾

Sometimes you don't need a long stay to have a great time! 🥰

Winnie came to visit us on Saturday for a quick, last-minute weekend stay, and of course we were more than happy to squeeze in a little extra Hounds Unlimited time! 🐶❤️

Even though her visit was short, Winnie settled in and made herself right at home. 🐾

We love being able to help out when those unexpected weekend plans pop up! Whether it's a longer vacation or a quick last-minute stay, we're always happy to give your pups a safe, fun and loving place to hang out. ❤️

Thanks for spending your weekend with us, Winnie! We hope to see you again soon! 🐾💕

🐾💕 **Vanessa Came Back… and We Had Adventures!** 💕🐾

Some guests hold a special place in your heart, and **Vanessa is definitely one of them!** 🥰

Vanessa was one of our **very first visitors back in April**, so we were SO excited when she came back for another stay! ❤️

This sweet, fun-loving Lab is basically **everyone’s best friend**. She loves people, loves dogs, and seems to have enough love and enthusiasm for absolutely everyone she meets! 🐶💕

Since we only had **four dogs staying with us that weekend**, we decided to take advantage of the small crew and go on a few adventures! 😍

🌊 **First stop: the river!**
We took the pups down to explore the river bed, sniff around, investigate everything and enjoy some time outside together. Vanessa was right in the middle of all the fun! 🐾

🏖️ **Then, on our last day together, we headed to the dog beach!**
You'd think a Lab would be all about the water… but Vanessa had other plans. 😂

While everyone else was checking out the water, Vanessa was much more interested in **searching the bank for rodents.** 🐭👀

Apparently, *dog beach* means *rodent hunting expedition* when you're Vanessa! 😂

She also got to be one of our **official homemade dog-cookie guinea pigs** while we were preparing for a market. 🍪🐶 No complaints were received, and thankfully I'm still in possession of all my fingers! 😂

And of course, we couldn't let her leave without making a **paw print** to remember her visit. 🐾❤️

It was SO wonderful having our sweet girl back with us. From river adventures to beach exploring, cookie testing and making new friends with Augie, Vanessa packed a lot into her weekend! 🥰

We can't wait until your next visit, sweet girl! ❤️🐾

🐾 **The Scruffy Old Men, a New Best Friend & Some Very Brave Taste Testers!** 🐾

We had **Russ & Augie** staying with us last weekend, and these two definitely brought the **scruffy old-man vibes** with them. 😂❤️

Augie has the look of a little gentleman who has seen some things… and Russ has a bark that sounds like he’s been **smoking for 80 years and just finished yelling at the neighbour.** 😂🐶

But the real highlight of the weekend? **Augie and Vanessa!** 🥰

Vanessa was also staying with us, and those two were **absolutely inseparable**. Wherever Augie went, Vanessa was right there. A new friendship was definitely formed! 🐾💕

I was also busy doing a market last weekend and needed some **official guinea pigs** for my homemade dog cookies… so naturally, Russ & Augie volunteered. 😂🍪🐶

They were VERY enthusiastic taste testers. **No complaints were filed, no cookies were returned, and I’m just lucky I still have my hand.** 😂😂

And of course, we couldn't let these handsome boys leave without making some **paw prints** to remember their stay! 🐾❤️

Thank you for trusting **Hounds Unlimited** with Russ & Augie! We loved having these scruffy old men—and their new bestie Vanessa—come stay with us! 🐶🐶🐶

Getting back to it! After taking some months off to finish a house project and work on our bonding with Zoey, we are back to narcotic training with her. This is her first time searching since her break, and we are also using a vest so she might have felt a little restricted.
It only took her 3 mins to find the narcotic tonight and I am pretty happy with her nose memory, especially since the scent had been out for a few hours and Rene was sitting right next to it. (Probably a distraction, but he didn't know it was there haha)

Our favorite snuggle bug left yesterday! We have had Winnie off and on all summer while her owner picked up some extra work shifts.
We love hanging out with Miss Winnie and she makes herself right at home.
Definitely on of the pack and even tells the big dogs what to do.

Until next visit! ❤️
