🐾 From the Trainer's Desk
One of the greatest gifts we can give our puppies isn't perfect training...
It's consistency.
When a new puppy comes home, they're trying to make sense of an entirely new world. They don't know where they're supposed to go to the bathroom, what belongs to them, or what our expectations are.
They're learning every single day.
That's why consistency matters so much.
When we respond the same way, follow a predictable routine, and celebrate the behaviours we want to see, we're helping our puppies understand how to succeed.
I always remind my clients that training isn't about having a perfect puppy.
It's about showing up each day with patience, kindness, and consistency.
Some days will feel like huge wins.
Other days may feel like you're starting over.
That's completely normal.
Progress is built through hundreds of small moments that often don't feel exciting at the time—but those moments are exactly what create lifelong habits.
Keep showing up.
Your puppy is learning, even when it doesn't feel like it.
Happy training,
