It sounds like a simple question… but there isn’t always a simple answer!
The feeding guide on your pet food bag is a helpful starting point, but your pet’s ideal feeding amount can depend on several factors, including:
🐾 Age & life stage
⚖️ Current weight & body condition
🏃 Activity level
✂️ Spay/neuter status
🩺 Health conditions
🍽️ Calorie density of the food
🦴 Treats, chews & toppers
Two pets of the same weight may not necessarily need the exact same amount of food.
That’s why one of the things we look at during a Nutritional Wellness Consultation is your pet’s individual calorie and feeding needs.

After taking some time away on maternity leave, I’m so excited to be back and reconnecting with our patients and their families! 💚
As a Registered Veterinary Technician with a special interest in nutrition, I offer Nutritional Wellness Consultations to help pet owners feel confident about what they’re feeding and how much their pets need.
Nutrition can play an important role in so many areas of our pets’ health, whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or kitten, working toward a healthy weight, navigating a medical condition, or simply wondering if your pet’s current diet is the right fit for them.
✨ Nutrition consultations can be helpful for:
• Puppies & kittens 🐶🐱
• Weight management & weight-loss plans
• Post-spay/neuter feeding adjustments
• Choosing an appropriate diet
• Treat & feeding amount guidance
• Growing, aging, or changing nutritional needs
• General nutrition questions and concerns
Consultations are available in person, by phone, or virtually, depending on your needs.

We're excited to announce that our clinic will soon become a collection location for the Canadian Animal Blood Bnak, and we're looking for some amazing four-legged volunteers to help save lives!

Could your pup be a superhero? We're looking for dogs who:
🐶 Are 1–8 years old
💉 Are up to date on vaccinations
❤️ Have a friendly, calm temperament
🛏️ Can comfortably lie on their side for a short period without becoming overly stressed
Weigh more than 55lbs

Every blood donation has the potential to help another dog in need during an emergency or life-saving procedure.

It's never too soon to start planning for Farley Foundation fundraising!

The Farley Foundation helps people who are experiencing financial hardship access essential veterinary care for their pets. Every October, clinics across Ontario come together to raise funds and awareness so more families can keep their beloved companions healthy.

Our clinic will once again be hosting a Bottle Drive in support of the Farley Foundation! We'll be collecting empty alcohol cans and bottles, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Farley Foundation.

As we get closer to October, we'll have lots of fun activities and events around the clinic to celebrate Farley Month, so stay tuned for more details!

In the meantime, start saving those cans and bottles! Donations can be dropped off at the clinic Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thank you for helping us make veterinary care more accessible for pets and the people who love them. ❤️🐾
