We’re once again collecting empties in support of the Farley Foundation! 🐾

🍺 Every can
🍷 Every bottle
🍾 Every little bit helps!

Madi, Veterinary Technician | Blood Donor Program

Madi may seem like one of the quieter members of our team at first, but don't let that fool you — there's plenty of fun and personality behind that quiet presence!

In just two years at Imperial Road Animal Hospital, Madi has grown and developed tremendously. She is an exceptional technician who continues to build her skills, take on new challenges, and show us just how much potential she has. We know she is going to do great things in this profession.

Madi has taken the lead in organizing our clinic's blood donor program, helping coordinate our incredible canine and feline donors who can step in to support patients when they need them most.

What stands out just as much as Madi's technical ability is her kind heart. She has a wonderful way with both the pets and people who come into her care, and she genuinely cares about the teammates working alongside her. She is always willing to step in, lend a hand, and often puts the needs of her team ahead of her own.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Madi's kindness, talent, and quiet strength as part of our team, and we're excited to continue watching her grow.

Happy Veterinary Technician Month, Madi!

Behind Every Patient Is a Team!

Veterinary medicine is never the work of just one person.

Behind every appointment, surgery, phone call, lab result, prescription, clean kennel, comforting cuddle, and happy reunion is a team of people working together to care for our patients and the people who love them.

This October, I want to take a moment to celebrate my incredible team.
Every person here brings something different to the hospital — different skills, strengths, experience, and personalities — but together, they make Imperial Road what it is.

To our entire team: thank you for the compassion you show, the challenges you work through, the laughter you bring to the day, and the countless little things you do that often happen quietly behind the scenes.

Our patients, their families, and I are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing group of people caring for and supporting our community every day. I am so proud of what we have built together and grateful for everything each of you brings to IRAH.

Mel, RVT | RVT Wellness & End-of-Life Care

If you know Mel, you know she brings plenty of fun and excitement to work every day! But alongside that energy is an incredible amount of care and compassion, with a particular passion for supporting pets and their families as they navigate end-of-life care.

Mel has been part of the Imperial Road Animal Hospital team for 15 years. Over that time, she has fostered and developed relationships not only with the pets she cares for, but with the people who love them. For Mel, caring for a patient has always meant caring for the family alongside them.

Through RVT Wellness appointments and her work supporting families through their pets' final stages of life, Mel continues to bring her experience, compassion, and personality to every interaction.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mel as part of our team and to see the difference she continues to make for our patients and their families.

Happy RVT Month, Mel!

Rylee, RVT | RVT Nutrition

Rylee has a special interest in veterinary nutrition and a passion for helping pet owners feel confident about what they're feeding and understanding what their pets need to thrive.

Through Nutritional Wellness Consultations, Rylee supports families through many different stages of their pets' lives — from welcoming a new puppy or kitten, to achieving a healthy weight, navigating nutritional needs associated with medical conditions, or simply determining whether their pet's current diet is the right fit.

Rylee's knowledge extends well beyond her own appointments. She is a steady and knowledgeable resource for our entire team, helping us navigate nutrition questions so that we can all feel confident supporting our clients and patients.

And if there's a spreadsheet involved, even better! Rylee loves the details and is continually working behind the scenes to help ensure our hospital is keeping up with current standards and providing the best care we can.

Lindsay, RVT | Practice Manager

Lindsay has been part of the team for almost 10 years, working both as a Registered Veterinary Technician and, over the years, growing into her role as Practice Manager.

While much of Lindsay's day happens behind the scenes, she has never lost her passion for the profession. Whether she's supporting a patient, working through a challenge with a team member, or helping develop new opportunities within the hospital, Lindsay's focus is on helping both people and pets receive the support they need.

One of Lindsay's greatest passions is supporting the growth and development of the team. She loves seeing team members discover what they're capable of and finding ways to create or support opportunities that allow them to continue growing.

Lindsay has had the privilege of watching the hospital and its team grow and change tremendously — and has grown right alongside them.

Happy RVT Month, Lindsay!

Jade, RVT | RVT Wellness & Fear Free Care

Jade has an incredible passion for patient care and believes that every animal she works with deserves the same love, patience, and attention that she would want for her own pets.

With a special love for our feline patients, Jade has completed Fear Free training and continues to focus on creating positive, low-stress experiences for the animals in our care. She is always looking at how we can better understand what our patients are communicating to us and adapt our approach to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

As one of our RVT Wellness Technicians, Jade also plays an important role in supporting the ongoing health of our patients and building relationships with the families who love them.
