This police K9 arrived at kindergarten looking every bit the serious working dog. The kids, however, had very different plans for him.

K9 Sergeant Blitz was visiting for Career Day when students decided his uniform needed a little personality.

Before long, glittery star stickers covered his vest, legs, and ears, while a tiny pink tiara completed the look.

Blitz is trained for serious police work, but he calmly lowered himself to the floor and let the children gather around to decorate him.

The photos were shared by K-9 Duty Dogs, showing Blitz surrounded by kindergarteners while wearing dozens of glittery star stickers and a tiny pink tiara.

By the time the visit was over, he looked less like he'd just finished police duty and more like he'd wandered out of a very enthusiastic birthday party.

Apparently, even a police K9 knows when it’s best to sit still and accept the tiara.
