A.C. Paws & Claws Caring for Atikokan’s pets, one paw at a time

🐾✨ EXCITING NEWS FOR A.C. PAWS & CLAWS! ✨🐾

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, and that’s because we’ve been working on something BIG behind the scenes! 👀🐶✂️

Grooming has been a goal of mine for quite some time, and I’m so excited to finally share that we are only a few steps away from officially launching! 🐾❤️

I’m taking the time to learn, practice and build my skills so that I can offer safe, comfortable and quality grooming services to Atikokan’s pets. ❤️

Over the next little while, I’ll be looking for a few practice/model dogs to help me gain hands-on experience as I learn different coats, breeds and grooming techniques.

🐕 If you have a dog who is:
• Comfortable being handled
• Patient and able to tolerate grooming equipment
• Friendly, calm and comfortable around new people
• Non-reactive toward people and other pets
• In good coat condition, with no severe matting
• Able to safely participate in a learning environment

…and you’re comfortable with photos and videos being taken and posted on my business page, I’d love to hear from you! 🥰

📸 A little about being a grooming model!

My first few grooms will be offered at a discounted rate in exchange for permission to take photos and videos to share on my page. Since I’ll still be developing my grooming skills, the results may not be perfect, and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as I continue to learn. I’m so excited to have your furry friends be part of the beginning of A.C. Paws & Claws’ grooming journey! 🥰🐾

If you’re interested in having your dog be one of my grooming models, please send A.C. Paws & Claws a message! You can also reach me at 204-371-0918. We can discuss pricing and whether your dog would be a good fit for a model session.

*Please note model spots will be LIMITED!*

I’m hoping to have grooming officially available within the month, so keep an eye on the page for updates! 👀✂️🐾

Thank you so much for supporting my little business as it continues to grow! Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you all! ❤️

✨Get to know me✨

Hi, I’m Ainsley 🤍

I’m 21 years old and graduated from
Olds College in June 2024. I’ve been working as a veterinary technologist for the past year and a half, and I truly love what I do. I share my home with my boyfriend and our dog, who keeps life fun and busy.

I grew up in a small town in southeastern Manitoba and made the move to Atikokan in June 2025. During my free time, you’ll usually find me outside fishing, hiking, or four wheeling. 🌲🎣

I’m looking forward to meeting more amazing people and their pets along the way.
