All Black Cadillac in his hunter era. 🖤 We dabbled in
the Open Performance and Combined Hunters at 4'. He often added some dramatic flair (mostly in flying changes) because he quickly became bored by the predictable courses. The combined hunters only kept him interested for 2 weeks... So we stuck to mostly jumpers after that! 😆

I loved having 2024 Thoroughbred Makeover Grad, Mr.Nobility, for the last month of training while his owner, Lauren Millet-Simpson , was traveling! The best part though was watching things come together beautifully in their lesson yesterday before he went back home! Be a good boy, Brego! 😆 LongRun Thoroughbred Retire

Grateful for the horse who always let me step out of my comfort zone. ❤️ This shot was from the 3'6" Canadian Hunter Derby class we did back in 2019! Tucker loved to do the Derbies! 🥰

1.15 speed class with my All Black Cadillac in June 2019, I believe we were 4th. I still remember the exact feeling of the rollback on the inside to this jump, he could be so spectacularly slick turning for a huge horse at 17.2! ❤️

I have had the privilege of coaching Addie over the last several years from lead line all the way up to her first season on the Gold circuit! It has been fascinating to watch how much her understanding of riding has changed over the past year of being in consistent lessons with this amazing horse, Tebow! He really takes care of her (despite sometimes being a sassy nugget, iykyk) and I truly appreciate this senior boy that knows his job and allows her to safely learn and make mistakes without ever penalizing her for them. Both shows she has attended this year, she has been the Reserve Champion of the Pole Division! I truly enjoy seeing her hard work pay off. Congratulations, Addie! 🥰 Ashley Lewis Thank you for the great shot, Becca !

Congratulations to Meraki's Shanen McFadden on her win in the LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society TB Derby! At 22 years young, Neville is aging like a fine w**e! 🥰🩷

Shanen McFadden & Making A Point put in a picture-perfect round to take the win in the $1,000 LongRun Thoroughbred Hunter Classic.

A beautiful performance from this pair. Thank you to LongRun Thoroughbred for supporting this class here at Angelstone Events.

I am really thrilled with this mare this week! 🤩 Tale of Perfection came to me earlier this year for full training to rehab an injury and train for her daughter to step up to from her large pony. We've had to work through some challenges, and I am grateful to her owner Laura Bishop for trusting me to take the time she has needed in order to build a more solid foundation and thus build her confidence.

Sometimes it is imperative to take a step back, find the holes in the training, fill them in with more education, and then move forward again. Slow down in order to go faster. Listen to the horse and they will tell you what they need!

Last week, we struggled to get over any fences in ticketed schooling on the first day. The second day we deconstructed a jump to get her going, and she finished off jumping the entire course. On the third day, she went around ticketed schooling with no stops, even over bigger fences.

This was her first week actually showing in the hunters and every single day improved upon the next. On Tuesday, she marched into a brand new ring for schooling and jumped every single jump. On Wednesday, she received a 41 in her first 2'0 round and 61 in her second trip. Thursday she bumped up to the 2'3 hunters and she received a score of 59 in her first trip, and 74 in her second trip (video posted)! She had some very lovely moments despite the green moments and finished the round feeling so confident and much softer! ❤️
