SPAY & NEUTER SAVES LIVES 💕🐾

Today was our monthly spay/neuter uber in partnership with Pet Valu Arnprior and 32 cats made the trip down to Lanark Leeds & Grenville Spay Neuter Clinic for their surgeries!

We were reminded today of just how important spaying your pets is, when we received word that one of our community member’s cats that came on our trip had pyometra, a severe and life-threatening uterine infection that impacts unspayed females.

Thanks to the wonderful care of Dr. Oscar and the whole Lanark clinic staff, this sweet girl is on the road to recovery; a life was saved today!

Shoutout to our director Tina for ensuring the safe transportation of your kitties to and from Brockville today 😻

As well, a shoutout to Pet Valu Carleton Place for giving us a handy secondary pickup/drop off spot to make these services accessible to more people!

A lot of time and energy goes into these clinics behind the scenes and we appreciate every person who sends their kitties with us and who shares this program with others; the more the merrier!

Our last clinic of the year is on Nov 17th and our list is growing! Let’s make that one our biggest yet 💕🐾

Meet Your Match Monday 😻

Meet Pecan and Marcona!

These sweet girls are bonded sisters just over a year old who will do well in a quieter home where they are given time and patience to acclimate to a new space.

They have grown from fearful to comfortably sharing their space with their fosters and a calm older dog. They are both shy with new people but are full of energy and love to play once they get comfortable.

Pecan is a sweetheart who loves morning cuddles and neck scratches. When she's hears an alarm in the morning she's up in bed in seconds looking for pets.

Marcona is reserved and a little slower to trust new people. Once she's comfortable she loves getting back scratches and watching birds, squirrels and anything else that moves out the window.

Does your home sound like the purrfect match for these gorgeous girls? 🐾💕

Send us a message or fill out an application form to learn more about our adoption process!

We want to send a special thank-you to our compassionate friends and fellow local charity, the Arnprior Regional Cat Rescue! 💛

When they have an abundance of pet supplies, they generously share their extra cat food, tasty treats, and litter with our food bank to help keep local furry family members happy and fed. 🐈📦

🐱 While pet supplies are not a regular item we carry on our shelves, it is always a wonderful bonus when we have some pet supplies available to offer pet-owning families during their visits!
