Nala is Looking for Her Forever Home!

Nala a beautiful blue point mitted Ragdoll that is almost 8 years old. Daughter of Cozzie and Nova of CaperCats, born June 21,2017.

Shy at first but quickly warms up. Enjoys snuggles on her terms and sleeping in the sun.

Nala needs a home without any other animals as is very territorial with her space with other animals and would do best in a home with no kids. She is on a urinary diet which was recommend by the vet and would need to be continued.

Located near Shelburne, Nova Scotia. If interested please contact Taylor at [email protected]

National Cat Health Month

National Cat Health Month | FIP

Today we're sharing some information about FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

FIP is a viral disease that is caused by certain strains of a virus called the feline coronavirus. In some cases, FeCV (Feline Enteric Coronavirus) mutates during an infection, becoming FIPV.

For many years, FIP was considered fatal once clinical signs developed; however, that has changed with the development of new trials and treatments that are currently working towards FDA approval.

Learn more about Luna, who was cured by one of those trials, at https://everycat.org/how-luna-became-the-first-cat-cured-of-feline-infectious-peritonitis-in-2017/
