Say hello to Emily and Duke — the newest additions to the team at Campbell Mountain Boarding & Breeding 🐾✨

Emily is currently in her final year at St. Francis Xavier University studying forensic psychology, and she’s already fitting right in with her calm energy, hard work, and love for animals. From helping care for the dogs to jumping into the daily routines, she’s quickly become part of the Campbell Mountain family. ❤️🐶

And of course, she couldn’t join the team without bringing along Duke — her 10-month-old black Lab/Border Collie mix who has absolutely no idea what personal space is and believes every person he meets is his new best friend. 🖤🐾

Fun fact: Emily runs mainly on iced coffee and puppy cuddles… and honestly, we respect it. ☕😂

Be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her around!

🚨IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE FOR ALL CLIENTS

With a confirmed case of Parvovirus in our area, along with the increase in Kennel Cough cases that commonly occurs during spring, we are asking all clients to be extra vigilant in monitoring their dogs for any signs of illness.

For the safety and health of all dogs in our care, ANY dog showing symptoms of illness will NOT be permitted to attend daycare or boarding until the appropriate incubation and recovery period has passed — NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please keep your dog home if they are showing ANY of the following symptoms:

PARVOVIRUS SYMPTOMS:
• Vomiting
• Severe diarrhea (especially bloody diarrhea)
• Lethargy or unusual tiredness
• Loss of appetite
• Fever
• Dehydration

KENNEL COUGH SYMPTOMS:
• Persistent coughing or hacking
• Retching/gagging
• Sneezing
• Runny nose or watery eyes
• Lethargy
• Fever
• Reduced appetite

To help protect all dogs in our facility:
• Please ensure your dog’s vaccinations are current, including Bordetella.
• Do not bring your dog if they have recently been exposed to a sick dog.
• Notify us immediately if your dog becomes ill after attending daycare.
• If your dog has been diagnosed with Parvo, Kennel Cough, or any contagious illness, veterinary clearance may be required before returning.

We understand this may be inconvenient, but these policies are in place to protect every dog in our care — especially puppies, senior dogs, and immunocompromised pets who are most at risk.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and for helping us keep our daycare safe and healthy for everyone.

📢 Important Notice 🐾

Hi everyone! I wanted to give you all a heads-up that Campbell Mountain Boarding and Breeding will be closed from June 3rd to June 21st while I’m away for my wedding and a much-needed vacation 💍✈️

During this time, I won’t be accepting any daycare or boarding dogs. The only exception will be for pups who are already booked and scheduled to be picked up on June 3rd.

If you’re looking to book before or after these dates, I recommend reaching out early as spots can fill up quickly!
