Pretend your little dog weighs 100 lbs….👀🤔
Would you still pick them up every time they felt uncertain or nervous? Carry them everywhere? Let them demand to be in your arms?
Hear me out…there’s NOTHING wrong with cuddling your dog—but constantly carrying them severely limits opportunities to help them build confidence, independence, and resilience. It’s not fair to our little fur balls—sometimes the kindest thing we can do for our tiny pooches is stop treating them LIKE they’re little. Don’t let their size become the reason you expect LESS from them.
Train the dog in front of you like they’re 100 lbs — even if they fit in your purse. 😅👜🐾
