Mum loves to hike at the shore because there are no ticks and very few blackflies or mosquitoes. It’s a nice change from the woods where the insects are plentiful. I love visiting the shore with my friends so we can swim and find stinky things!

We went off the beaten path to explore a couple of brooks that lead to the ocean! Hiking in the cool ravine and playing in the water was a treat on this sunny, warm day! The black flies were a bit bothersome but not so bad if we kept moving.
