Responsible breeders don’t just bring puppies into the world; we stand behind them for their entire lives. When circumstances change and one of our dogs needs a new home, we take responsibility. We take them back, we help them through whatever they need, and most importantly, we make sure the next chapter is the right chapter.
Moose was returned through no fault of his own. His family’s life changed drastically and unexpectedly, and suddenly, the life they had planned together was no longer possible.
When Moose came back to us, our first priority was getting him healthy, happy, and feeling like himself again. He needed a little rehabilitation and a lot of patience, love, and reassurance. And he got exactly that.
Then, as sometimes happens, the stars seemed to align.
I mentioned Moose’s situation to a fellow breeder, and they told me they had just received an application from someone who had previously had males retired from their program.
It was one of those moments where you just knew.
The right people.
The right home.
The right time.
The perfect next chapter for Moose.
Welcome home, Moose. 🐾❤️
And a very special thank you to Jen and Charlie for opening your hearts and home to this young boy and for being exactly the kind of family we hoped we would find for him.
There is something incredibly special about watching a dog get a second chance—not because they did anything wrong, but because sometimes life simply takes an unexpected turn.
Moose’s story is a beautiful reminder that home isn’t always where you started. Sometimes, it’s where you’re meant to be next.
We couldn’t be happier for this handsome boy.
Here’s to the next chapter, Moose. ❤️
