What an incredible day! ❤️
On behalf of everyone at the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter, thank you to all who joined us for our Grand Opening and helped make this milestone so special.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who donated in support of this project, with special recognition to the late Andrew Breau and his wife Linda for their generosity and commitment to helping animals in our community.
Thank you to the Town of Amherst, NS and the Municipality of Cumberland for their ongoing support of our shelter and our mission. We are also grateful to Mayor Rob Small and Mayor Rod Gilroy for taking part in this special occasion and doing the honours of holding the ribbon as Linda officially opened our new facility.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and hands-on Board of Directors. Your passion, hard work, and countless hours of support make everything we do possible. This celebration would not have happened without you.
And finally, thank you to everyone who came out — even in the rain — to celebrate with us. Your support means the world.
This new facility represents a pivotal step forward in our mission to provide safe shelter, compassionate care, and brighter futures for animals in need. We are excited for what lies ahead and grateful to have such an incredible community standing beside us.
