Friday Morning: Heavy rainfall warnings are now active for both central areas including Halifax and eastern regions including Cape Breton.

Central and Northern Nova Scotia including Halifax - Expected totals: 70 to 100 mm. Timeframe: Active now through Saturday evening. Key Risks: Downpour rates reaching 10 to 20 mm/hour, potential thunderstorm activity with locally heavier rain, travel delays, and water pooling on roadways.

Eastern Nova Scotia including Cape Breton - Expected Total: 100 to 150 mm. Timeframe: Active now through Monday morning. Key Risks: Sustained heavy downpours with rates up to 10-20 mm/hour, possible embedded thunderstorms causing locally higher totals, water pooling in low-lying areas, and travel delays.

Scary first day for our foster girl Wonta. Not sure which scares her more… my french or my presence. Sadly she had been holding her bowels and bladder and needed to go out. Happy to say, she caved to my terrible French.

Thankyou Pet Value Amherst for assisting with harness fitting and donating a bath for a pretty lady. After a few days of stress. Foster gal Wonta threw a lot of her coat around the house and had some dry skin. The kind folks at APV donated an oatmeal shampoo and oatmeal honey conditioned spa treatment. These great folks are often contributing to the community. This is definitely a fearful foster friendly establishment. 💕
