Just a friendly reminder that Cumberland County Animal Hospital will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th for Labour Day.

Please make sure your pets have any medications, food, or other essentials they may need before the long weekend! Please keep in mind we require 24 hours for prescription refills, with the exception of parasite prevention 😊.

We’re so excited to announce that starting tomorrow, September 1st, online booking will be LIVE! 💻📅

You’ll soon be able to request your pet’s appointment online — making it easier and more convenient to fit their care into your busy schedule. 🐶🐱💕

Sweet Jay came to see us last week for his annual wellness exam, and he was such a good boy! 🥰

Not only was Jay an absolute sweetheart, but he was also seriously photogenic! 📸🐶 We definitely couldn’t let him leave without taking a picture to share with everyone. 💕

**UPDATE ... Moon Mist & Cookie Dough have both been ADOPTED**

🍦💕 Meet Moon Mist & Cookie Dough! 💕🍦

Our Ice Cream litter is starting to become ready for adoption, and we are completely in love with these babies. 🥹

First up are Moon Mist & Cookie Dough — two of the sweetest little girls you could ever meet! ❤️

This entire litter is unbelievably affectionate. These girls are friendly, playful, curious, and their little purr motors basically never shut off. 😻 The second you give them some attention, the purring starts! They absolutely love people and are just such happy, sweet-natured kittens.

Honestly, we spend WAY too much time loving on this litter. 😂💕 They’re just that sweet.

As part of our kitten adoption program, Moon Mist & Cookie Dough will be:
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Fully vaccinated
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Dewormed & treated for fleas
🐾 FIV/FeLV tested negative

Sweet little Stella recently stopped by to see us for her puppy vaccines, and we just couldn’t resist sharing this adorable face! 🥰💉

Stella is a Dachshund, a breed famous for their long bodies, short legs, and BIG personalities! 🐶💕 Did you know the name Dachshund actually means “badger dog” in German? They were originally bred to hunt badgers, with their long, narrow bodies helping them navigate underground burrows. 🦡

Their unique long-backed build also means it’s especially important to help keep Dachshunds at a healthy weight and take care of their backs throughout their lives. ❤️
