As we are heading into the weekend, I have much to be thankful for.
I started my grooming business in the back of a pet store we purchased in 1992. And the owner was also the groomer.. she started not showing up for her grooms before we purchased the store. My mom who use to groom our poodles and my uncle who gave me my first pair of clippers set me on my path. My first dog was Spencer a Lhasa Apso my parents bought. I started grooming him and friends and customers love it. So I took on a few clients. While playing fly ball with our border collie we had many groomers who showed me how to groom all sorts of breed standards( they turned out to be mentors)
After many moved locations I settled in the Depot in 2002.
I got married had 2 kids 24yrs later I moved the business home which was an intention back in 2004 when we purchased my childhood home from my parents.
And here I am today, with believe or not some customers that have been with me from the beginning after 34 yrs. I am very Thankful for each and every one of you to say that I am right where I belong.
And for all my new customers thank you for choosing me.
I love seeing how happy you all are when I get the chance to post some pictures, they take a bit of work at night but I do enjoy all your feedback.. are some of the dogs perfect, no but every willing participant to be photographed deserves to be shown. Hopefully you’ve seen your pup once or twice.
So after going into my 35 years
I am just very Thankful!!🥹 ❤️🫶🐾
